Happy National Son's day to all of my AMAZING and UNIQUE boys!!! Where does the time go? I looked up and they are taller then me, using bigger words then me, think they know more then me lol, and talking about learning how to DRIVE??? 😵 My boys are now entering their teenage years and I am starting to get the attitude and teenage challenges.. They use to be best friends could not do ANYTHING apart now they can not stand each other. I know this is something that just happens with siblings close in age because me and my sister went through it to lol We are so close now as adults.. Doesn't make it any less painful when they are mean to each other!! We will get through these teenage wasteland years just like we got through all the other phases over the last 14 years and there have been a ton!! Doing it the best way I know how with a smile on my face, positive attitude, and god behind me!! My kids have no clue that they literally saved my life. I was going down yet another dark road between 15-16 when I relapsed from my 2nd attempt at sobriety but when I took that pregnancy test and it showed positive. I had to make a decision that was way bigger then just me! After really thinking on it I decided that day to put the substances down and take care of myself. God was telling me something because I was pregnant exactly a year prior and miscarried. So I felt blessed to have another opportunity to have a family. Then we have my fur baby Max we adopted him as a christmas present for the boys 3 years ago... But he has been my dog from day 1. Always by my side and he talks to me daily lol as you can see in the vid. I feel like thier might be a human trapped inside of him because he behaves more like a human then a dog!! Same here. For reals life seems like a huge balancing act between “I need to accomplish this” to “I need a getaway”. We are at a VERY busy stage with the 2 little kids and I need to remind myself daily that this stage is fun too and will pass in time. . It’s hard for me to let things be messy, I really hate clutter. But, they are kids and this is what they do. This is how they learn and play. . As hard as it is for me to get anything done, I know I need to enjoy and remember this stage of life. These years will go fast and I’m sure I will miss all of this once they are done with the “playing” stage. . The beauty of having big kids while having little kids is that you realize that life just flys by - seriously, so fast.
