A S I P R E P A R E for my third retreat of the year in less than two weeks time, I think it’s about time I introduced my schedule for the remainder of the year, my specialisms/areas of special interest & the opportunities available to attend/work with me. Each year I schedule in a number of: • Holistic Women’s Wellbeing mini retreats - perfect for those completely new to this kind of thing and/or who those for whom taking a full day out isn’t feasible. Yoga + my signature lunch + self-care session or mini sound bath + guided gentle release/yoga nidra • Holistic full day retreats - as well as yoga, and self-care sessions, these events also feature guests such as breathwork coaches and sound practitioners and are fully catered by the in-house chef In addition, I offer bespoke mini and full day retreats which are perfect for celebrations, girlie get togethers or workplace wellbeing away days. I’m also available to attend retreat days and events as a guest practitioner, with my knowledge of women’s health, reflexology and the principles of traditional chinese medicine for self-care. As well as being a Reflexologist and Holistic Therapist, I’m also a 200 hour qualified yoga teacher qualified in restorative yoga, post-natal yoga, and will soon add fertility yoga and yin yoga to my formal qualifications. T H I S S P R I N G I’m gifting myself a daily yoga practice. My Winter was lacking in self-care and consistency and my body, mind and spirit have felt the impact of this, particularly during the transitional period between Winter and Spring. • My body was very stiff. Emotionally, I was wobbly. Everything just felt a bit ragged, a bit stop-start, up and down. • This can happen during seasonal transitions when we are out of balance. Instead of flowing with ease from one season to the next, we feel the tension of the transition sometimes quite intensely. Everything just kind of feels more difficult. • So as we move into the Spring and the Wood energy begins to rise, reflected in the emerging growth with it nature all around us, so I begin my journey. A time to begin to unfurl my stiff limbs, come out of hibernation-mode and move towards the light. • Whether it be 10 minutes or 110 minutes, what I do and how long I do it for counts less than the intention to move, and the gift of time for myself. • Today, I started the day with a 30 minute shoulder focus and I think I’ll repeat this a few times this week to get the energy flowing with more ease in this area.
