Er is nog geen internationaal wettelijke regeling die de plasticsoep, het plastic dat in de oceanen terechtkomt, aanpakt. Alleen dit jaar is er (tot nu toe) al bijna 3,5 miljoen ton plastic afval in de oceanen gedumpt. ❌ Waarom is een verdrag over plastic eigenlijk nodig? Plasticvervuiling is overal ter wereld te vinden. Het plastic dat we niet opruimen komt uiteindelijk via rivieren in onze zeeën en oceanen terecht. Door wind en stroming kan plastic de hele wereld ronddrijven. Er is dan geen enkel land dat verantwoordelijk is om dit op te ruimen. Tot nu toe is het de internationale gemeenschap ook niet gelukt om dit tegen te gaan. U Područnoj školi Bučje u ponedjeljak, 22. travnja obilježen je Dan planeta Zemlje. Učenike od 1. do 4. razreda su posjetile predstavnice Javne ustanove za upravljanje zaštićenim područjem Požeško - slavonske županije Iva Galić i Kristina Ašenbrener te im održale zanimljivo predavanje o Danu planeta Zemlje i zaštiti prirode, pogotovo njezinih zaštićenih područja. Pripremile su im radionicu razvrstavanje otpada i kviz znanja. Učenici su dobili prigodne darove i listiće za bojenje. Nakon provedenih aktivnosti, učenici su odlučili da će više reciklirati i paziti na prirodu. Heute ist Earth Day - und diesmal steht dieser Tag unter dem Motto Planet vs. Plastics. Denn nicht nur die Erwärmung der Meere bricht stetig neue Rekorde, auch die Kunstfaserproduktion steigt weiter an. Es wird erwartet, dass sich die Plastikproduktion bis 2050 verdoppeln wird. Earth Day setzt sich zum Ziel, die Produktion aller Arten von Kunststoffen bis 2040 um 60 % zu reduzieren. Die Modeindustrie nimmt hier einen entscheidenden Stellenwert ein: Laut IUCN stammen 35% des globalen Mikroplastiks aus synthetischer Kleidung. Es tritt durch Waschen in die Umwelt ein. Rund 65 Prozent aller Textilfasern auf dem Weltmarkt sind aus synthetischen Chemiefasern, also aus Kunststoffen wie Polyester, Polyamid oder Polyacryl. Kunststoffe enthalten oft Zusatzstoffe, die sie stärker, flexibler und haltbarer machen. Sie werden nicht nur erst nach langer Zeit abgebaut, sondern geben auch giftige Chemikalien an die Umwelt ab, die den Menschen und dem Planeten schaden. Jedes Jahr landen 18 Milliarden Pfund Plastik im Meer. 🌊🌊🌊 Das können wir besser!
