A little bit about me and a moment that changed my life forever: ๐จ๐ป: In 2020, after an epic road trip in Western Australia, I returned to work in demolition to save for our next adventure. While knocking down an elevator room on top of a high-rise building in Sydney, my boss was stressed and asked my friend and I to knock down some blocks on top of the elevator room, skipping the safety gear. A piece of plywood fell and knocked me off the roof to the level below. My right ankleโs talus bone was shattered, and I had other lower body injuries. I wasnโt sure if Iโd ever walk properly again. It was a wake-up call. Life is fragile, and we need to make the most of it. Since then, Iโve recovered a lot, pushing myself to be better every day. As a Black woman who has dived into "sisters of the yam: black women and self-recovery" by bell hooks, the experience was nothing short of transformational. hooks' words resonated deeply with me, speaking to the struggles, joys, and complexities of my own journey towards self-discovery and healing. Embracing the journey of lifelong learning has been one of the most enriching experiences of my life. Every day presents an opportunity to explore, grow, and evolve. One tool that has greatly enhanced my personal growth journey is oracle cards. Oracle cards offer a unique way to tap into our intuition, gain insight, and foster self-healing. By simply drawing a card and reflecting on its message, we can uncover hidden truths, gain clarity, and find guidance on our path. Using oracle cards for self-healing can be incredibly empowering.
