Garden Blooms. . Picked up these wild flowers on the side of a road a few years ago and got the iris on a sidewalk in the south. . The flowers are thriving and continue to bloom all season. I’ve spread them all around my yard and given quite a bit away to neighbors. I’ve seen it at our local garden center for about $30 a container. April was fun. New job role, sorted out some health stuff (all good!), everything bloomed and suddenly it's green and colorful all around. As someone with a May birthday, these flowers have always felt a bit extra special to me. Happy May Day! For my French friends, Bonne Fête du Travail! For those who aren’t familiar with them, these are lilies of the valley. I first got to enjoy them when I lived in France years ago. They have the most delicate perfume and charming tiny fairy flowers. In France it was customary to offer them as a gift on this day. My mom and I turned this into our own tradition - but these flowers are not something you find at most florists. So when we moved to Rabbit Hollow, I planted a few in the yard.
