Hey guys , I'm back. Thank you to everyone who has been following. #supportstrugglingartists. 😂 It was time to choose another poem again and of course I'm a little indecisive girlie but I realised that this has to be the next poem. I think I consider this as one of my life changing poems that I wrote on a random night because I had to submit a response poem to the poem , The Man by Seitlhamo Motsapi. It has always been a very special poem and I've performed it both as part of the @ujartsculture poetry showcase and on the @poetryafrica stage, what an honour it has become. I'm forever grateful for the ability to talk my talk on stage and everyone has to listen to what I gotta say - don't you just love poetry? I grew up as a fat kid and worse in a coloured community , die mense like nie vettes nie 😂 it was hard but I made it work and I appreciate everyone else who has contributed to making me feel better about my body. I've accepted that that's just it , it's just a body and it works so hard for me. It deserves my approval and I do identify as a baddie so I know I'm hot chile🔥 Being fat is not the worst thing someone can be. Thanks for reading my work and stay well. Second post of the day!! Aren't we proud? As I transition away from the Jackson County farmers market, I would like to let everyone know that I'm currently going through a rough medical situation. On June 9th, I will be traveling to Duke to visit their Cancer Center. This is hopefully to rule out bladder or kidney cancer, but I'll let the doctors figure it out. As someone with Ehlers Danlos and Mast Cell Activation syndrome, all of my medical problems are much more complicated.
