Why do BKS Iyengar's asanas have such a solid expression? Iyengar had a feeling for movement with a center in the spine. He not only aligned the limbs in space, but also connected the outward alignment with the inner center in the spine. This gives his asanas great resilience and stability. 8 basic laws of movement - represented in the form of opposites. It is interesting to note that there is polarity in movement, such as expansion and contraction or relaxation and activity, etc. Here I have done some initial research into a basis for movement shown in a circular digram. I just was asked why geometry and integrity are opposites. In this point I was not sure yet. First I thought of flowing as an opposite of geometry because it emphazies the nature of movement . Then I thought there is a relationship between flow through all parts of the body and integrity. So I choose integrity in the meaning that geometry is something fix and stable and integrity refers to the fact that everything is connected in the way of a flowing movement.
