Opinión: La última película del antiguo DC y segunda de Aquaman se hunde, por falta de ganas de sacar algo bueno. James Wan repite en la dirección en esta segunda entrega, con un resultado decepcionante, pero entretiene lo suficiente para no aburrir. Una película que intenta poner más humor que la anterior entrega, pero peca de ser un humor simple y absurdo en ocasiones. Un gran punto a favor es la aventura de esta película, que es entretenida y mostrando situaciones interesantes. El CGI está bien hecho, las escenas de acción son muy buenas, las actuaciones de Momoa y Wilson son lo que mejor mantiene a film, pero desaprovecha a los secundarios en muchos momentos. El villano es insípido, el mismo de la primera entrega, con el mismo objetivo, pero más poder. Una película entretenida que podría haber llegado a mucho más si no fuera por varias cosas que han lastrado la película, por ejemplo, es la última película de DC como lo conocíamos, la polémica de Amber Heard y alguno más que no recuerdo. [Avis ciné] Fais attention au piano ! 🎹 📺 Insidious : chapitre 2 (2013), de James Wan, est la suite directe d’Insidious. ▶ Thriller, Epouvante ▶ 1h45 ▶ 5/10 A la suite des événements terrifiants qui ont eu lieu chez Josh et Renai, une enquête est en cours pour retrouver un meurtrier. Bon, difficile d’en dire plus sans spoiler la fin d’Insidious premier du nom. Alors on ne va pas parler de l’intrigue ! ➕ Ce qui est nouveau : une scène d’urbex dans un hopital désafecté (pourquoi pas…), une sorte de faille temporelle qui complexifie un peu l’intrigue (dommage que ça soit si mal exploité), un suspens (mais sans mystère). ❌ Ce qui aurait mieux fait de changer : toujours les mêmes ressorts, une isolation murale qui laisse à désirer, des lieux abandonnés pas forcément crédibles, le duo de chasseurs de fantômes rigolo mais inutile, une facilité scénaristique lassante. Anecdote : Apparemment aux US tout le monde a un piano chez soi. Je parle pas d’un synthétiseur, mais bien d’un gros instrument qui nécessite un peu plus qu’un 30m², tu vois ? En fait, j’ai compris après que le piano, déjà présent dans la maison de Josh et Renai et à nouveau présent (pas le même, un autre) chez la mère de Josh, était un indice “clé” pour l’intrigue. Un peu gros le fusil de Tchekhov Un mot sur le prologue. C’est moi où on se croirait dans le “Previously” d’une série TV ? Quand on a l’idée saugrenue de faire un marathon Insidious, on se rend aisément compte que 10% du chapitre 2 est directement pompé dans le premier opus. Madison (Wallis) is having a rough go of things lately, but the arrival of something sinister overshadows any prior trauma and begins to draw her deep into a twisted nightmare. Filmmaker James Wan (Dead Silence 2007) delivers a true creepfest that boasts liberal doses of Body Horror mixed with a Slasher sensibility. The genre nods don’t stop there, however. The movie has a strong Giallo visual style with a touch of J-Horror infusion thrown in for good measure. It’s quirky, slightly weird, definitely original, and quite unlike much of the director’s past fare. Now, whether or not you’re hooked depends on your acceptance of the rather Cronenbergian premise. The motion picture offers grisly kills, buckets of blood, gore galore, and a reveal that has gotta be seen to be believed. I, for one, am a huge fan of this movie and think it’s worth checking out. Si potrebbe parlare della trama dove c’è il fratello di Shaw impersonato da Jason Statham che vuole uccidere per vendetta tutta la family di Dom, si parlerebbe delle acrobazie assurde tra due grattacieli, il lancio delle macchine, the rock in tutta la sua indistruttibilità. Ma questo è il film di addio a Brian O’Conner, Paul Walker morì in un incidente d’auto non durante le riprese ma in una giornata “normale”, per ricordarci che nei film tutto è possibile e da qualsiasi situazione se ne può uscire illesi, purtroppo la realtà è un altra e lui non c’è più. Il finale del film è un immenso addio da parte di Vin Diesel ad una persona che ha ritenuto come suo fratello. Sono nati tanti meme ma vi assicuro che in sala quando le due auto prendono vie diverse c’erano solo lacrime, anche la canzone che sottolineava tutto con un “see you again” ci chiede di sperare che ci sia un posto oltre questa vita ci si possa rivedere di nuovo. È l’augurio che si fa Vin e tutta la famiglia di Fast and furious, ripercorrendo scene dei film della saga dove compare ci rendiamo conto che il componente principale della “family” è il pubblico e che quindi anche noi abbiamo perso qualcuno di importante. James Wan é o cara quando falamos em terror, mais uma vez vai te deixar apreensivo usando os mais diversos ângulos no escuro, manipulando o silêncio e com aquele inteligente uso de câmeras criando os desconfortáveis jumps scare com bastante eficiência. Mas o filme vai muito além dos sustos, a ambientação é sinistra e tem uma fotografia bem gótica e sem vida. O enredo é bem coeso com um desenvolvimento bem satisfatório além de belas cenas gráficas e um plot twist de impacto. ‘Stop saying that!’ ‘Maddie, who are you talking to?’ ‘Gabriel.’ ‘Is he your imaginary friend?’ ‘He’s the devil…’ MALIGNANT. This one got a LOT of hype when it came out and fortunately I managed to avoid hearing much about it, which is good as it’s best you go in knowing as little as possible. It’s a fairly run of the mill slasher/thriller about two cops solving a rash of murders taking place in Seattle - at least to begin with. The second half of this film is nuts, and that is all I will say (I don’t wanna spoil in case someone’s not seen it) - and while it gets a bit cartoonish towards the end, it’s still a solid, gore-soaked and action-packed horror movie.
