Si chiamerà #Antigone, come la protagonista dell'omonima tragedia greca di Sofocle che ha sfidato la legge degli uomini per i propri ideali, per concedere degna sepoltura al fratello, anche se le era stato proibito. I partigiani invece, hanno sfidato apertamente le leggi imposte dalle dittature, rischiando la vita in nome delle proprie idee e della libertà. Anche se questa Europa ogni tanto ci fa arrabbiare, non gettiamo tutto all'aria perché anche noi abbiamo un ruolo importante nel nostro piccolo, non dimentichiamolo mai. Other things to know are water sources and resupply points. * Harsh terrain is also advantageous to partisans because it makes it more difficult for them to be followed or attacked. Mountains, swamps, even rolling hills with forests serve as optimal cover and concealment for partisans conducting operations in an AO. * Since partisans usually operate in small numbers the exposure to a prolonged engagement needs to be avoided. So they need to be able to pack up and move the moment it is suspected the enemy is closing in on their general location. They used to tactics still in use today such as harassing enemy troops with skirmishes and ambushes, sabotaging crops and food stores as well as raiding frontier settlements creating resentment among settlers and hurting the war effort for both sides. •These tactics can be seen in almost every major conflict since then. Especially in the American Revolutionary War. II -UMA HISTÓRIA EXTRAORDINÁRIA Danilo Moura (f.2), o aviador da FAB, continuou sua caminhada, na região do Vêneto, abrigando-se em estábulos, dormindo no frio do inverno italiano, pedindo, aqui e ali, comida e algo para beber. Após 120km chegou a Polesella (f.4 e 5), às margens do Rio Pó (f.6), que teria de atravessar para prosseguir rumo ao sul. Sem documentos, não teria como cruzar a ponte, passando pelo controle alemão e, procurando um ponto para atravessar o rio, acabou por chamar a atenção de um guarda alemão, que o interpelou e lhe bateu. Sem nada entender, mostrou-lhe a boca ferida, a língua cortada e os dentes que ainda sangravam, a fim de justificar o seu silêncio. A sorte lhe sorriu novamente, pois o alemão não notou seus coturnos americanos nem seu relógio de pulso, da FAB, e, confundido com um vagabundo maltrapilho, foi deixado em paz. Desceu mais o rio e, já à noite, encontrou um morador cortando lenha. Contou-lhe uma história qualquer e o italiano convidou-o para jantar. Disse, então, para Danilo, que a história dele era muito boa, mas, apontando para seus pés, afirmou:"Mas, você é um aviador." Danilo tentou fugir, mas o rapaz o tranquilizou. Era um partisan, membro da Resistência italiana, e se dispôs a ajudá-lo. Abrigou-o por alguns dias em sua casa e arranjou um passe para que ele pudesse atravessar o rio. Deu-lhe roupas e uma bicicleta velha e providenciou um camponês para acompanhá-lo. Assim, ele conseguiu passar pelo controle alemão e cruzar o rio. This research, which is grounded in interviews with 31 environmental educators in Kentucky, investigates: 1) how environmental educators in a state whose politics is often at odds with environmental protection navigate their work; and 2) how the ways these educators navigate their work illuminates the potential for EE to thrive in diverse places. By taking a stance toward EE that is ‘apolitical’ and oriented toward finding common ground with all participants regardless of their personal politics, Kentucky’s environmental educators offer an alternative to the seemingly intractable acrimony that can characterize discussions of many educational and environmental issues – including EE. How to heal the Division in our District Our District is tired of the horseshoe effect of the far left & far right being the loudest voices in the room that turn our Article 1 branch into an illegitimate offshoot of a mix of the Executive Branches DOJ & a Judicial Branch kangaroo court. In order to heal, we must remove the divisive hyper partisan actors who tore this country apart like my opponent @RepDean Madeline Dean. When she chose to become an Impeachment manager she wasn't thinking about who this would disenfranchise within her district, she was thinking about pleasing her far left base, how much fame, & how much money it would bring her campaign. Meanwhile, it tore this District & Pennsylvania apart. I have never seen a more divided country, state, & and district. We can't even talk to each other anymore. Each side has drawn lines in the sand and insult each other personally rather than engaging in civil discourse. Here we see a recent photo of the #WWII #memorial #sculpture that is located in Gračanica, #BiH that commemorates the location where Ustaše fighters executed 6 Partisan fighters on August 25th, 1941. The monument consists of a #concrete cast hand, roughly 2m tall, with it's fingers closed, all sat upon a small platform. It is not immediately clear what the symbolism of the #monument is intended to indicate, but there are many examples of hands being used in Partisan monuments having various symbolic meanings. In questo giorno, 79 anni fa, veniva giustiziato il dittatore fascista italiano Benito Mussolini, segnando la fine di oltre 20 anni di fascismo in Italia. 79 anni fa.. si iniziava a respirare un aria di cambiamento. Mussolini e la sua amante si travestirono da soldati tedeschi e tentarono di fuggire dal paese. Tuttavia, una brigata partigiana comunista nel villaggio di Dongo sul lago di Como ha identificato Mussolini, catturato e giustiziato. I corpi di Mussolini, la sua amante, e i suoi colleghi fascisti furono trasportati a Milano dove vennero esposti in piazza. Una folla furiosa ha calpestato e sputato sui loro corpi prima di essere impiccati fuori da una stazione di servizio. Un eterno grazie. W la Brigata Garibaldi! 📆 El 28 de abril de 1945 En Giulino di Mezzegra, región de Lombardía, Italia, es fusilado el dictador Benito Mussolini. Recordar que tres días antes, los partisanos habian derrotado al fascismo, por lo que el máximo exponente del fascismo italiano y uno de los dictadores más crueles del siglo XX tuvo que emprender una huida desesperada junto a Clara Petacci, su amante. Mussolini cae prisionero junto a su pareja, y ambos son fusilados a la entrada de la Villa Belmonte, una carretera estrecha conocida como via XXIV maggio, frente al muro de la villa con un subfusil. En la noche del mismo dia, los cuerpos de Mussolini, Petacci y los otros fascistas ejecutados fueron cargados en una camioneta y trasladados hacia el sur hasta Milán. En las primeras horas del 29 de abril, fueron arrojados al suelo en la plaza de Loreto, el lugar elegido no fue casual: diez meses antes, quince partisanos habían sido fusilados allí de forma cruel y sus cuerpos habían quedado en exhibición pública. Al ver el cuerpo de Mussolini tirado, la muchedumbre comenzó a arrojar verduras a los cadáveres, los escupieron, orinaron, dispararon y patearon: hasta dejar la cara de Mussolini totalmente desfigurada por las palizas. Nilde Iotti, all'anagrafe Leonilde Iotti nacque il 10 aprile 1920, in Reggio Emilia. Visse gli anni dell'adolescenza in un contesto di forti difficoltà economiche. Rimase orfana del padre nel 1934 e poté proseguire gli studi solo grazie a borse di studio. Seguendo le regole della Leva fascista, il 5 ottobre 1942 si iscrisse al Partito Nazionale Fascista, condizione peraltro indispensabile per poter svolgere l’attività di insegnante pubblico. Successivamente esercitò l'insegnamento in alcune scuole tecniche della sua provincia natale, concludendo la sua esperienza professionale nel 1946. A seguito della situazione in cui era precipitata l'Italia dopo l'armistizio dell’8 settembre 1943 prese forma il suo interesse verso la politica, avvicinandosi al PCI e partecipando alla Resistenza, aderendo ai Gruppi di difesa della donna, formazione antifascista del PCI, diventandone un personaggio di primo piano. Eletta nel dopoguerra segretaria dell'Unione Donne Italiane di Reggio Emilia, nella primavera del 1946 entrò nel consiglio comunale come indipendente nelle file del Partito Comunista Italiano, aderendovi poco dopo. Nel giugno dello stesso anno venne candidata ed eletta membro dell'Assemblea Costituente, nella quale fece parte della Commissione dei 75, incaricata della stesura della Costituzione. Parallelamente nel 1946 iniziò a Roma la sua relazione con il Segretario Nazionale del PCI, Palmiro Togliatti, di 27 anni più anziano. Rieletta nel 1948 alla Camera dei deputati, sedette tra i banchi di Montecitorio ininterrottamente sino al 1999, ricoprendo così quella carica per quasi tredici anni, dal 1979 al 1992. Nessuno nella storia d'Italia ha ancora raggiunto il suo primato. Nel 1969, Iotti fece parte della prima delegazione italiana. In quegli anni si impegnò per riformare l'elezione al parlamento stesso. Fu anche eletta Presidente della Commissione Affari Costituzionali, risultando la prima donna a ricoprire questa carica. Durante la sua vita ricevette moltissime mansioni di prestigio.
