El Cognac es de solo Fins Bois, con 48,6% ABV tiene 9 años y viene de la parcela Le Droguet. Ni un Cognac de el lleva colorante 😃, ni azúcar, que es muy común hoy en día 🙉, ni está filtrado en frío. Vidal is a Cool little Grape 🍇 😎 1. Vidal is a #hybridvarietal that was created by Jean Louis Vidal in 1930 in France 🇫🇷 using the grapes #rayondoré & #ungiblanc (👈🏼 that’s also a really fun word and what the still call this wine in #southfrance ) 2. I’m not sure however I would call this a #frenchwine 🧐. A decade later in 1940 this #varietal was brought over to #canada where it Thrived. This grape LOVES a #coldclimate 🥶. You can find #vidal living it’s best life in places like Germany, France, I think Italy, NE United States, & especially in Canada 🇨🇦. 3. This grape is primarily used to make #icewine 🧊. Icewine is typically a #sweetwine based on its nature. In the colder climates the grape will become more condensed on the #vine making the juice more condensed & with more natural sugar. The cold climate actually squeezes the water from the grape leaving only the condensed juice. How Cool! Bonus: Vidal does grow where I live here in #maryland . Picked up the gleanings after the Shiraz pick. Used for colour and flavour enhancement. If you're going to do this protect the inside of the tap with a gauze cage, as I had endless trouble with the tap blocking.
