As I watched JP today, I thought I’d show you another JP item from my collection that I haven’t shared yet. This is the Jurassic Park Trilogy “Big Sleeve” Edition, which consists of all 3 of the films on DVD and Blu-Ray in this cool fold out sleeve, and includes 4 cool art prints. The big sleeve sets were mostly sold on Zavvi I believe (I got this one on eBay though), but a few other retailers did them too. They did them for a variety of films (I have one for Finding Dory too) but they were quite short lived as an idea and they stopped doing them. GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL 2 BIG SLEEVE EDITION This is my first Big Sleeve edition and I’m very impressed, it’s a shame these aren’t made anymore because they are some amazing collectibles. This release comes with the film on Blu-Ray and DVD, it also has 12” art cards and a vinyl soundtrack featuring some tracks from the film. By way of explanation - Australian blu rays and DVDs, quite aside from frequent censor cuts, are always ruined by the GIGANTIC classification logo that messes up the cover art. Add to this, multinational pissbaby @amazon UK threw its toys out the pram last year and won’t ship to Australia any more because it doesn’t want to pay tax.
