It’s so good you have to SAVE this one! 🥨🍯🧈 Ingredients 🥨 3 cups corn chex cereal 3 cups honeycomb cereal 3 cups bugles chips 3 cups pretzels 1 cup butter 1 cup honey 2/3 cup sugar 2/3 cup avocado oil 3 tbsp soy sauce 1.5 bottle furikake Directions 📝 Add cereal, chips, and pretzels into an aluminum tray. Make the syrup by melting butter in a saucepan. Once melted, add honey, sugar, oil, and soy sauce. Stir to mix. Drizzle butter mixture onto cereal mixture, sprinkle furikake on top, and toss with hand or spoon until all ingredients are evenly mixed. Bake at 250F for 1 hour, mixing every 15 minutes to ensure it cooks evenly. I made a few tweaks to this version of the Hawaiian snack by increasing the amount of soy sauce and furikake seasoning. DILL RANCH CHEX When I younger I remember we had a “Souper Bowl” fundraiser at church. As part of this fundraiser someone had brought in a batch of dill ranch oyster crackers for the soups. But, we ate them as a snack. Well a couple years ago I attempted to find or make gluten free oyster crackers (the making did not go well let’s just say that) with no luck. But chex are a great alternative! Also I used garlic nutritional yeast for the first time today, if you have any tips for using it please let me know! • 4 cups rice chex • 4 cups corn chex • 1/2 cup melted butter • 1/2 packet ranch seasoning • 1 tbs dill (I honestly added more dill after they cooked a bit and I taste tested because I really like the flavor) • Other spices in order of proportion: garlic powder, onion powder, nutritional yeast, salt • Grated parmesan (out of the shaker!) 1. Preheat oven to 250 2. Mix together the 2 kinds of chex in a casserole dish 3. In a bowl, mix melted butter, parmesan cheese and seasonings 4. Drizzle about half the mixture over chex and mix together to coat the chex. Then pour the other half and mix again 5. Place in oven and bake for an hour. This is the most used and most anticipated recipe within our family. It’s nothing fancy or really pretty but it’s addictive, simple and delicious. This Chex Mix is only made during the holidays in our family, making it extra special and something we look forward to every year! We’ve reworked it so many times over the years and have finally perfected it. For me it’s the combo of Worcestershire and Lawrys seasoning thats the magic. Recipe below! * 1/2 cup butter * 2 1/2 teaspoons seasoned salt (Lawry’s Seasoning) * 9 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce * 12 ounce box corn Chex cereal * 3 cups cashews * 2 cups pretzels * Preheat oven to 250 degrees. * Place cereal, cashews and pretzels in an 11x17 pan. * In a microwave safe bowl, melt butter. Add seasoned salt and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well then pour over cereal. Using a large spoon, mix very well, to evenly coat cereal. * Bake for one hour, stirring well every 15 minutes
