Touring from PARCO Museum in Tokyo to PARCO Event Hall in Osaka between December 2020 and February 2021, the exhibition featured over 50 works ranging from the late 1960s to the present day. Born and trained at opposite ends of the world, Sorayama and Giger are apparently at odds—one’s bright colors are swallowed by the other’s dark chiaroscuro; one’s enthusiastic outlook on technology borders with the other’s nightmarish dystopia; one’s “super-realism” challenges the other’s surrealism—yet they share more than meets the eye. Am 13. April kehrte der Innerschweizer auf die Wettkampf-Bühne zurück und bestreitet am Wochenende beim Zuger Kantonalen in Cham sein 1. Kranzfest. 💥 Der Berner Fabian Staudenmann war mit 7 Kranzfest-Triumphen im vergangenen Jahr der herausragende Schwinger im 2023. Auch im neuen Jahr tritt er bislang mit ähnlicher Dominanz auf. Für die Berner geht’s erst am nächsten Wochenende mit dem Mittelländischen in Riggisberg los. 💥 Unspunnen-Sieger Samuel Giger verletzte sich vor wenigen Tagen beim Toggenburger Verbandsschwingfest an der rechten Schulter. Here is my creature sculpt for my term 1 zbrush assignment at @3dsense . I finally took some time off to grab some nice rendered shots of the thing. As many of you guys know, I've always been inspired by the biomechanical body horror aesthetic of H R Giger, and i took my chance to sculpt my rendition of a xenomorph, based off the work of Juan Novelletto and modified into my own. This critter took about 6 weeks to sculpt, im very satisfied with the final outcome though i did alot of technical mistakes along the way, of which i may correct at a later time, or maybe even just sculpt a totally new ome should time permit (probably after graduation most likely) Printed by my friend @bentbuilds , i intend to fix her up and do a full paintjob soon, so stay tuned for that.
