Part 1 âą Growth is hard and it hurts. Itâs part of life. #growingpainsarereal âą Likewise, Spiritual Growth is painful, but itâs part of a personal relationship with God. God cares so much more about our character than our comfort zone. #truthhurts #notalizzoreference âą Right now, Iâm going through a growth period - at least I trust that thatâs whatâs happening. đ There are multiple times in a day at work where Iâm completely altering lesson plans because of unexpected circumstances. Iâve mentioned Iâm a planner, right? Then, as a contract Athletic Trainer, Iâm constantly walking into situations where I donât know anyone and Iâm unfamiliar with the settings. Every day, Iâm out of my comfort zone. âą But, each time the unexpected happens, it gets a little easier to make adjustments. Every game that I cover makes it a little bit easier to sign up for another one. Why am I in these positions every day? Your guess is as good as mine. I trust that God has a plan and is going to use my growth in ways that Iâm not yet aware of because, as @lysaterkeurst says, âGod is good. God is good to me. God is good at being God.â

I would never have allowed myself to get in this position. If only you would have..." So, might we be a little more kind and gentle to each other? A little more aware that what we see on the outside of someone isn't all that there is. That doesn't mean you agree with everything they say or do. But it does mean you value them as a person.
