I know it’s controversial, but I’ve been a licensed real estate agent for 16 years and I don’t believe in open houses. Why? Less than 1% of homes sell in an open house and a majority of the time, the people who attend open houses are not yet pre-approved or pre-qualified to buy a house. A lot of people are just fallowing the open house signs bc they have nothing better to do. They don’t know what they’re looking at, the price point, or the description of the home. Also, in my opinion, open houses are more for agents to market themselves in the area they want to work. As someone who puts their clients first I feel that open houses are a waste of time that could be better spent. I guess I never actually did make a post about it, but I did qualify for nationals in men’s physique. I am not going to do it. I did not enjoy the process of this prep - it was not good to me physically or mentally, and it showed on stage. I don’t want to go to attempt for a pro card knowing I’m being given the chance based off of something that was far from my best. That being said, there’s another show coming up in 11 weeks for me; @npctwincitiesopen where I will be competing in a new category for myself, Classic Physique. I still somewhat consider this a stepping stone on the path to eventually become a mass monster, but this is much more close to the aesthetic that made me love the gym and fitness. The grind doesn’t stop, and I am very hopeful I can bring a package to this stage that I can display proudly. The last week has felt pretty good, which I know will not last through the entire process (there’s always going to be bad minutes, hours, days, even weeks) but I am feeling confident and excited, as well as a little jittery and nervous about it. We will leave no boxes unchecked. This one is going to be defining for me. Health update (this is a long one 🙏🏽) Still alive Still kickin’ My health has been a constant battle for me my whole life and as much as I have come to accept this journey will never be easy. There’s so many times I have prayed and hoped that it could be. I remember being 13 years old and being checked for leukemia because my immune system was attacking itself. I remember drs telling me they didn’t know what was wrong. At 17 my metabolism quit on me and I gained 55 plus lbs in 3 months At 23 I couldn’t keep solid foods down for over a year. I withered away and the havoc it reeked on my hormones was awful. At 30 I was diagnosed with Hashimotos to add to the list of issues At 31 a hormone treatment done the wrong way caused me to lose over half of my hair, my bones hurt, I gained weight, lost my period again, and my skin broke out so bad I needed antibiotics. I’ve spent so much time, money, literal blood and tears talking to Dr after Dr. Specialist after specialist.. looking for help for answers. Naturalists and not… I’ve done my own research and I try my best to eat clean, stay active, and be as healthy as I possibly can. But here at 33 my body again is struggling. I had a blockage and my intestines twisted around and filled with fluid causing me to have to go to the ER. Another battle, another mystery… But I’m still fighting. Still trying to do my best with what I have. Even when it’s less. Even when it hurts. Even when no one understands. For everyone struggling with invisible illnesses. With unanswered questions With chronic pain… I am so sorry because I understand. I am so sorry.. but you aren’t alone. There’s so many of us and I’m so sorry.
Mein Baby ist kurz davor eigenständig zu laufen. Es passiert gerade so viel was seine Entwicklung angeht. Das merke ich vor allem Nachts. Ich werde meist stündlich geweckt. Mein Baby braucht die Brust zum weiter schlafen. Einen Schnuller nimmt er nicht. Ich könnte jetzt nachts abstillen oder ihm die Assoziation abgewöhnen. Ich weiß ja schließlich wie das auch bindungsorientiert geht. Aber ich bin zur Zeit einfach zu platt. Zu müde und deswegen nehme ich das einfach so an. Und auch das ist ok. Denn auch das heißt Besürfnisorientiert. Für eine Veränderung muss man Kraft haben. Meist gehen diese nämlich nicht ohne Protest einher. Diesen muss man aushalten und begleiten können. Das geht aber leider nicht gut, wenn man selber geschlaucht ist.
