I’m closing in on a burn-out. . I did pretty well in August. I had it timed quite well. Doing some things far outside of my comfort zone and then go and see my therapist. . It was the first time I would see my therapist after 3 months instead of after 2 months. I started feeling that it was longer than usual and I started counting towards my therapy session. And then, 2 days before I got to see my therapist she had to cancel. First available option to reschedule was the end of September. . I kept on going. It also started to get more difficult at work. I started to drop the ball more often. I got physically sick and can’t seem to completely recover. I started counting days and hours until my vacation. . And then yesterday I started showing tears at work. Today I’m barely capable of working. It’s 25,5°C inside and I’m cold and covered in a blanket. I don’t seem to have a fever though. . I think I’ve reached my limit. 3 workdays and 2 hours to go before my vacation. . I’m not sure anymore that I’ll make it. . I’m watching myself crash and I’m not sure what to do about it. . Another two weeks to go before I get to see a neurologist. Two weeks and 5 days before I see my therapist. I need that vacation to keep me stable until then. . While I’m inactive on my chair staring at my screen, in my head I’m screaming at myself to do something about it. It doesn’t work. I’m just silently screaming myself a headache. . I’ve lost the energy to function. It went downhill so fast these last few days. I can only try to hold on. Or at least pretend to. . #burnout #nomoreenergy #adhdwomen
