Ik pak steeds een nieuw beeld, een voor een, stuk voor stuk. ⚪️ Ik VERWONDER mij, wat zit ik hier heerlijk in mijn schatkamer, mijn wonderlijke WERELD, ik val van de ene verbazing in de andere en ja ik bekijk elk plaatje met aandacht en lees alles. Ik realiseer me dat dit mijn GOUD is ! ⚪️ Opruimen ? Weggooien ! ? Ik ben zo blij met de PLAATJES, ze zijn zo raak, dierbaar, ontroerend, vreselijk, gruwelijk, grappig en mooi en het is mijn blik op de wereld, toen en nu nog steeds, alles is anders en niets is veranderd. Ja het is gewoon echt waar, de plaatjes blijven aan mij PLAKKEN hahaha ⭕️ Ik zit midden in een CIRKEL van alleszeggend beeld en begrijp niet wat het allemaal samen betekent.... Hoe komt het samen ? Waar en wanneer ? Dit ben ik ! Toch ? Wat is het verhaal ? ⚪️ Ik laat het een paar dagen liggen en hink-stap-sprong eroverheen. Ik doe NIETS. 🎈 En dan gebeurt het, ik loop door mijn plaatjes, ga midden in de cirkel staan en voel, nu ga ik een XXL Mixed Media Collage maken. Niet denken, maar doen, SPELEN ! ⚪️ Ik neem een oud schilderij uit 1991 en schilder een deel wit, ik leg beelden in een bak met water, ze mogen drijven. Super interessant & spannend zu sehen, wie sich Ideen komplett unabhängig voneinander entwickeln. Damals habe ich die @wasihrnichtseht Instagram Kachel zum Leben erweckt in kleiner Form als Box mit ausgedruckten Kacheln & den Stories mit dem #alltagsrassismus der Menschen drauf. Es ging ums Anfassen der Geschichten… sie nicht nur in der digitalen Welt zu haben. Sie mit Oma und Opa auf dem Küchentisch besprechen zu können. Und genau diese Idee verfolgten sie auch bei der Ausstellung dazu… nur in größer! In noch lebendiger! I was having a conversation with @thatmoonglowmama about our workshop and something came up from the conversation that got me thinking. Essentially it was about committing. The last two plus years have been uncertain. Things have been scheduled, cancelled and changed all over. “Will it happen?” Seems to be a theme. Well I gotta tell ya, I didn’t get where I am right now by waiting to see what will happen. I said yes and stepped in. AFE for a year? Yup. Programs with @karirussellcoaching that speak to me? Yup. Self care work? Oh yeah. Breathwork session? Indeed. Gym membership? Fuckin right babe. And things continue to grow for me. It didn’t come from me going well…..let’s wait and see what happens. Or the “I’ll catch the next one!” I’m not waiting for the next one. It came from me saying yes to myself and my growth regardless of the circumstances. Ok so obviously this isn’t a cure all thing, but have this movement with me. Anytime I feel a lack of inspiration I will usually take a walk outside. Preferably by nature. Or at least more nature than a bunch of houses in a subdivision. Staying stuck in the four walls of my house is not the answer especially if that’s where I’m feeling uninspired in the first place. I’ll tell you in my experience every time I’ve gone outside for a quick connection with nature I feel inspired. Like the air and the movement clears out any sluggish stuff I’m holding. So consider this your sign to get out and go somewhere new. I get to it not everyone has access to nature but even going for a walk somewhere new, taking a ride in a new space, or even just going to sit outside on your balcony can be the little kick in the butt you might need. Yesterday I started to go through the list of people I follow who haven’t engaged with me in a long time. I gotta say, wow. There were accounts I was following that were clearly no longer aligned with me and what I’m up to. There were accounts that followed me just for me to follow back so they could gain something. There were accounts of people I’ve worked with, spent real time with, even had a friendship that no longer followed me. There were even some long term clients that had unfollowed me at some point or another that I was still connected to without even knowing what happened or why. And the truth is as I culled my list some of those realizations hurt. But I also think that as I let go of something or someone what I’m creating space for is something even more magical. So for today I’m leaning into some disappointment. Some sadness over people leaving. Losing relationships that were likely pretty conditional, but still hit none the less. And I’m holding space for some real healing, for more humans to find me that are ready to go deeper than they ever have. The ones that lead themselves. The ones that are not afraid to take risks or say yes. The ones who are willing to be expanded. That’s what happens when you let go of things, you make space for something new and attuned to where you are now to come in. I think that’s beautiful. Clear. Let go of people with grace. If you have a moment about it, honour it. It’s ok. Then let it be the catalyst for calling in what you truly desire. People have been asking me lately how I’ve gotten where I am. Well. First, I dive in despite the fear. Like if I’m terrified to sign up for something or commit and I also feel that it’s a big yes, I do it. Second, I invest a LOT. Between Soul Shift with Sage Goddess, Breathe with Kari Russell and AFE with Melanie Ann Layer I’m spending over 5k a month on my growth. No joke. Third, I do the work. I post, show up, lead, share and all the other things that come with being an entrepreneur. Forth and most importantly, I deepen my relationship with trust, money, gratitude and faith every day. I ask for support when I need it and I keep it as real as I can. This level of success comes with a willingness to dive deeper, play bigger and show up brighter. It heals so much and asks you to learn to hold the good stuff and the hard stuff. It’s understanding that it doesn’t solve your problems and remove the fear. It just asks you to trust more. So if you want to up level your life, business, your leadership, it’s really about what you’re willing to step in to first.
