In my efforts to eat healthy I picked this book off my shelves. I purchased it a while back and I finally decided to read it. It has a lot of advice on what you should do to improve your health. I am going to focus on two things right now. I am adding several vitamins to my daily routine. I am focusing on trying to eliminate as much processed food from my diet as possible. When I feel I have a good handle on these two things then I am going to look at another aspect of the book. J'arrive un peu en retard ! Alors qu' @emmanuellebouyer_auteure vient de publier son deuxième roman : Boomerang, je me décide enfin à lire son premier : Il faudrait au moins l'éternité. J'étais curieuse de savoir ce que contenait ce roman qui, pour un premier, marche très fort... J'ai un peu de mal à commenter ce roman car c'est un feel good, voire même une romance, donc pas ma came. Pour moi qui aime trembler, pleurer, sentir mon cœur s'arrêter et me poser des milliers de questions... Je ne trouve pas mon compte dans les histoires où tout coule presque sans encombre. Pour autant, à part pour quelques détails que j'aurais préféré plus approfondis ( oui, parfois je suis un peu trop pointilleuse), j'ai passé un moment agréable avec ces personnages doux et attachants. Ces personnages, encore une fois, fracassés par les secrets de famille. Quand je vous dis qu'il ne faut jamais garder un secret !!! J'ai le plaisir d'échanger régulièrement avec l'autrice via les réseaux, et je pense qu'elle a toutes les chances de réussir dans le domaine de la littérature. Elle a tout compris. Sont roman démarre vite, on ne s'ennuie pas, les personnages sont dessinés clairement et apparaissent au bon moment. Tout est limpide et beau. Et une chose est sûre, c'est que si j'arrive un jour à traîner ma famille jusqu'en Bretagne, j'irai visiter l'île de Groix ! Now, the enemy is just as powerful as they are... • Opinion : There were actions, important events and plot twists. Tomi kept shedding light on racism and inequality, on how usurpers rule through injustice after stealing power from the people. We got to see more of Amari's life, seeing things from her perspective showed us that even the purest people with good intentions can do bad things if pushed too far. I also got to learn more about magic and its creation and I loved it as many other things about this book but I won't lie, It took me time to finish it and sometimes I just wanted to stop reading it. The main character was getting on my nerves during the whole book, and the tangled love stories, some scenes were too long or boring, I felt less excited while reading compared to the first one which was better. Une histoire qui aborde la question de seconde chance tout en rappelant qu'effacer complètement l'ardoise est parfois impossible. "Ocalała z chińskiego gułagu" - nie odbieram niczego kobiecie, do której ta historia należy. Oceniam przede wszystkim warstwę pisarską, a ta nie była dla mnie dobra. Książka była monotonna i powtarzalna. "Niezgodna" - zawsze uważałam tę serię za mniej udaną kopię moich ukochanych Igrzysk śmierci (dobrze, że jako dorosła przeczytałam "Battle Royale"). Była okej, ale bez szału. "Smak trucizny" - książka bardzo interesująca, ale ciężko było mi przez nią przebrnąć przez ogrom opisów. Akurat ta ocena wynika z mojej wybrakowanej wiedzy w temacie. "Woda dla słoni" - czytałam jako młodsza osoba i ogrooooomnie się wynudziłam. Review - Cross Bones by Tracy Whitwell. Rating - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ✨️Thoughts - Absolutely love this series! This is the 3rd book, and I read it in a day! I love Tanz and Sheila, they have fully come to grips with their powers, and Tanz gets a boost in this one, which was fun to read as she processed what was happening to her. I liked how it wasn't just a murder she was solving but a story going back generations in one family. I liked how it was all linked together, and the ending was quite sad with Nelly.
Review - The Twyford Code by Janice Hallett. Rating - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ✨️Thoughts - This is the 2nd of Janice's books that I've read, and I absolutely loved it. Her writing is so intricate and absorbing that I lose myself in the plot every time. This one was no different. The story was so well thought out and all the secret codes and imagination of Steve to give his son an amazing story and wealth. I can't wait to read more of Janice's books. 'Love Is Brighter Than Gold But It Is Heavier'
Review - The Atlas Six by Olivie Blake. Rating - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ✨️Thoughts - An absolute ride of a book! So much happened that I'm not sure I've processed it all yet, but I really enjoyed this one! Action, betrayal, threesome, longing, magic.. what else could you want? Can't wait to start the next one in the series!
Review - Number Call by Nagisa Furuya. Rating - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ✨️Thoughts - A sweet graphic novel of a boy who always had his name mispronounced and hated it until a boy fell in love with him over their 8 names.
Review - Powerful by Lauren Roberts. Rating - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ✨️Thoughts - I am so glad to have read Adenas side of events while Pae was in the castle doing the trials. I loved Powerless and knew I needed to read this one, and it did not let me down! I love that we see Adena still slumming it in loot and making a friend to help her survive. Makoto was such an amazing character that his grumpy to Adenas sunshine was just the best! I loved their banter and how he finally let her in with all of his horrible past. Mak went through so much as a kid, and his relationship with Hera was just so special. I loved this book and can not wait for Reckless! Roll on July!

I knew who the shadow was going to be, only reason it wasn't a 5*. I loved all the creepy feelings whilst reading this and glad that Sally found Anna along the way. Near the end, I'm not gonna lie, I was holding my breath and wondering what would happen to Sally. I'm so glad it had a hea, though. Defo recommend.
