Last day of the year and I haven’t posted in a few weeks. Today I woke up at 197.6 lbs which was surprising to me. The past few weeks I have eaten off but kept my protein at 260g a day or more some days my carbs are higher and some days my fats are higher but I stay within 500 cals of my 3,500 cals daily. But it’s the holidays so I made healthier cheese cakes, home made Carmel and a lot of treats. Life is about moderation but it’s also about having fun. My stress has been very high and some days I suave missed a work out but I always made it up in some way even if it was just a few high rep slower tempo lifts. Cardio is everyday and when I’m not at work I get a 20 min stationary bike warm up and cool down. When I’m at work I try to get at least 20 min in on the assault bike and a few games of pickleball. Great leg workout today despite my calves and hamstrings still being sore from my run Thursday! 405lbs x 3 @ RPE 9 355lbs x 5 paused @ RPE 8 This puts my projected squat 1RM at 465lbs which would be an all time PR without wraps! Paused squats literally suck, but in my opinion they are one of the best exercises to incorporate into your training if you’re trying to increase your squat numbers!
