🎵 Goatfest24 - Introducing @Klones 🎵 Klones are one of the east coast of Scotland's longest established wedding bands. They are noted to have played many of the finest venues, including the Balmoral, Royal Botanical Gardens, and Royal College of Physicians. Klones were resident band at the Jam House Edinburgh from 2016 till 2020. They made over 100 appearances during this time and were the last band to perform at the venue before it closed due to Covid restrictions. There is no better way to experience the beautiful county of East Lothian than to jump on the number 124 bus and hug the coast of the Firth and Forth. You pass through layers of history and get some breathtaking views over the water. It begins at North Berwick standing at the Mouth of the Forth and passes the medieval castle of Dirleston. Rolling hills on the left, the mudflats of Aberlady on the right. It hugs the coast, bus rocking in the infamous wind blowing across the Firth and passes eighteen century Gosford house. On past Port Seton and its thousand year old collegiate church, the site of Bonnie Prince Charlie’s great victory at Preston Pans, the medieval Preston tower and superb memorial to the miners at Preston pans before reaching Musselburgh with its famous racecourse- the gateway to Edinburgh. Great to see so many people out enjoying Belhaven beach now the weather is improving. It was quite mild this morning, but still has that springtime bluster and a little cold nip. ⛱️ 🏴 🌤 Belhaven Bay is a large golden sand beach a little along the John Muir way from Dunbar. It is an approx 1 & 1/2 mile coastal walk from the Annexe. It takes about 30-45 minutes depending on how often you stop to take in the stunning scenery.
