Rather than a there-and-back again beach walk at low tides you can take a circular down limetree walk to a fantastic Scots pine lined beach of interesting rock formations. The walk around the corner to an igneous headland which you can climb to then descend onto the golden #ravensheughsands . There so much variety of #eastlothiannature in such a small place! 🏴 #Tyninghamebeach is only 7 and a half miles from the Annexe, just a short 15 minute drive. How vibrant is this? Just trying out new recipes on my day off. I ve been meaning to make ravioli for some time now and today was the day for it. Made with our own home grown spinach I filled it with morel mushrooms with walnuts and smoked tofu. It went beautifully with garlic butter, toasted walnuts, sliced morel and wilted spinach under roasted red pepper sauce.
