😱 Tower of Terror is the *ONLY* ride that scares me at Walt Disney World! You strap into a rickety looking elevator and drop straight down several times as you hear the sound of cables snapping and metal clanging. 🎃 On a gloomy Halloween night in 1939, some guests of the Hollywood Tower Hotel were riding the elevator when a terrible storm struck the building!⚡️They were never seen again. The hotel closed down and has been empty ever since. Great premise for a ride, right? The queue takes you inside the abandoned, rundown hotel where you journey into the Twilight Zone! 👻 😳 I've ridden Tower of Terror close to 10 times, because I want to face my fears but I can't overcome my fear of this ride! ✨Rides, attractions, experiences, Genie+ and Lightning Lane✨ Let’s talk about some of the fun stuff! A trip to Walt Disney World would not be complete without at least one of the items listed above. On this adventure, we did a lot and that was due to my daughter being an amazing Genie+/Lightning Lane genius. She was able to make sure that we didn’t have to wait in line, hardly at all! For those who enjoy the lighter side of the parks, a few of our favorites were Living with the Land, Spaceship Earth, Kilimanjaro Safari, Finding Nemo: The Big Blue… and Beyond, Carousel of Progress, Monster’s Inc. Laugh Floor, Pirates of the Caribbean, Toy Story Mania, and Peter Pan. We experienced a lot more, but these were our favorites! The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival with all of the amazing topiaries is truly worth traveling to see. My grandson got to build his own droid at the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Custom Astromech Units. We also enjoy shopping in each of the parks and at Disney Springs! For the more adventurous traveler, we did Expedition Everest, Avatar: Flight of Passage, Soarin’ Around the World, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, Big Thunder Mountain, Seven Dwarf’s Mine Train, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, and TRON to name a few, again because my daughter has amazing Genie+ and Lightning Lane skills! This was our first time riding TRON and Guardians of the Galaxy. For us, TRON is a great coaster experience and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind was fabulous and like the movie, there’s a lot of great music! Side note: while riding Guardians of the Galaxy, a couple of us got a little queasy. That doesn’t mean we won’t ride it again! #wdw #epcot #magickingdom #animalkingdom #hollywoodstudios #wdwrides

🔵 I never took a super posed photo to represent my Tron Lightcycle/Run Annual Passholder preview photo, but I did manage to grab this before leaving the area. Thoughts and opinions below! 🔵 It was... Good. Good coaster, decent theming, enjoyable ride. 🔵 But it was only good. That launch was 🔥🔥🔥 and so so thrilling... And then everything else is just short. Short queue, simple theming, short preshow, short ride experience. 🔵 So I liked it. But I wouldn't wait 2 hours for this. Guardians is a far superior experience from the theming, queue, pre show, and ride itself. Good. Decent. Worth the first experience. Awesome ride vehicle. Nice to look at. Launch/outside fantastic. ⚡️🏍I entered the Grid today!🏍⚡️ TRON Lightcycle / Run does not officially open until April 4, but today I visited Magic Kingdom to attend an exclusive Disney Cast Member preview event thanks to some amazing pals! I rode it three times (twice in the front and once in the back to check out a modified seat experience). This ride was UNREAL- it was super thrilling but did not make me feel nauseous AT ALL (I do sometimes experience some nausea on other rides), no massive drops, just some exhilarating speed and launches! You must be 48” to ride! Last night I spent the evening in Magic Kingdom 💫💫 Arrived at 7pm and thanks to Genie+ was able to ride: Pirates Big Thunder Haunted Mansion Peter Pan *stopped to get pixie dusted at Sir Mickey's!* Buzz Lightyear The Peoplemover & Space Mountain I was back In the car heading home by 11pm Even stopped for a quick bit in Cosmic Rays Starlight Café and had time to see most of the fireworks before boarding Peter Pan! Genie+ is 100% worth it on evenings when you don't have time on your side.
