Today, we spent the day on the lovely beach of Mellieha Bay. Such a lovely sandy beach, with crystal clear water and a great restaurant where I could enjoy a cuppa whilst my son digged in the sand. My son took a lovely photo of me and my husband just relaxing watching the sea. Sweet moments. We are really enjoying Malta! We had a lovely day yesterday exploring the island of Gozo visiting a beautiful sandy beach as well as heading into the town centre Victoria and exploring the citadella. It was a warm but windy day as you can see from my hair 😂. Burlington Vermont ((Make sure to save and share with other families!)) We spent February Vacation exploring Burlington, VT and its surrounding areas! We found it to be a great place to stay if you are looking for city and outdoor activities. Here is some family-friendly activities to do: 1. Explore the charming streets of downtown Burlington, where you'll find unique shops and restaurants. 2. Visit Burlington waterfront . It offers beautiful views of Lake Champlain, and during the warm months, many activities are available, such as boat rides and biking 3. Visit ECHO Leahy Center. We did not get to visit during our stay. The center offers interactive exhibits and hands-on activities for kids. 4. Eat ice cream at Ben & Jerry! We ended up going twice since the kids (and adults) enjoyed it so much! 5. During winter months, ice skating, snow tubing, and hiking trails are close by. We found a family owned snow tubing spot that was perfect for us! Overall, Burlington Vermont is a great base to explore the beauty of Vermont! We can't wait to visit again during the warmer months! 📍 New York If you're going to New York you HAVE to walk the High Line. It's the first thing I tell everyone to do when they ask for recommendations of what to see. It's the old railroad tracks which ran above the city which have been converted into a park. You wander through several neighbourhoods and there are some amazing views of the city, plus places to stop off and rest. I've been up there every time we've been to New York and still love it. In fact, I love it so much my husband bought me a massive book about the planning and construction of it. We zagen voor de eerste keer bultrugwalvissen. Zo machtig! Tijdens onze boottrip naar het beschermde natuurgebied Las Marietas island zagen we niet alleen meerdere walvissen maar ook springende dolfijnen en de bijzondere blue-footed boobies. En uiteraard nog mooie vissen tijdens het snorkelen. Erg leuke dagtrip. Kinderen tot 16 jaar mogen niet onder de cave door zwemmen naar ‘love island’ dus die optie hoef je er niet bij te boeken (extra kosten). 📍 Manchester Little half-term trip to Manchester which felt like it was over before it really began! Our time there absolutely flew over and I feel like we barely scratched the surface of the city! We spent hours exploring the @nationalfootballmuseum Little dude loved the interactive parts of the museum, especially playing Subbuteo! We also spent a morning dodging the rain before our train at the @scienceandindustrymuseum There is some absolutely beautiful architecture, a real mix of old and new which was fascinating for me wandering around! Nuestra Señora del Consuelo. Deze parochiekerk, daterend begin 20ste eeuw, is erg indrukwekkend om te zien!⛪️ Zamira keek haar ogen uit in deze fascinerende koepelkerk. Tijdens het reizen ontdekt en leert ze zoveel over culturen, leefwijzen, lokale gewoontes en tradities. We zijn dankbaar en voelen ons rijk dat we onze kinderen dit al met de paplepel kunnen meegeven. Door de sensatie van dit alles komen er de meest interessante vragen in haar op waar we soms zelf het antwoord niet eens op weten, maar daar leren we dan zelf ook weer van!🤓💡 Het leuke is dat ze het later ook weer oprakelt en deze informatie dus ook echt binnenkomt!🥰 Liefs van ons! @theworld_travelersfamily @miekebroer_studio —— Nuestra Señora del Consuelo. While traveling she discovers and learns so much about cultures, lifestyles, local customs and traditions. We are grateful and feel rich that we can teach this to our children from an early age.
