The Milky Way from Laguna Beach So far, there have been exactly 2 people that have shot this view. Me and the person I came here with that night. It took me a lot of convincing to get them to come to Laguna Beach because everyone knows you go to Malibu for beach Milky Way shots. Anyway, as you can see, it really worked out for us. On this particular day, I was stopped by a scene of extraordinary beauty. A canvas of bright red leaves, with a solitary yellow leaf boldly contrasting its companions, caught my eye. A recent rainfall had just added a layer of richness, intensifying the hues and adding a depth that often goes unnoticed. Sometimes, we need to look for the scene within the scene.
Sometimes, a hazy morning can illuminate the darkness in the most unexpected ways. It invites your gaze to dance across the forest floor, past the sentinel trees, and into the enigmatic depths beyond. There's an undeniable magic in wandering through forests, where the vibrant hues of the gum trees stand tall like ancient monoliths. The morning's overcast light was perfect, casting a mystical glow that made the adventure worthwhile. I was driving along a dirt road on a quest for fog nestled among the trees, a sight that promises the serene beauty of untouched nature. The forest air, fresh with the scent of damp earth and the crispness of the mountain breeze, was refreshing; during those moments, I felt alive and at peace. But it was the composition that mattered most to me. I aimed to capture the exquisite arrangement of trees and showcase the unrefined splendour of the forest. You’ll find wild garlic in fresh and humid places, hiding in the shadow of dense foliage in deciduous forests. Look for valleys with deciduous trees and slightly clayey and acidic soils. Having water nearby is a plus. You can find wild garlic almost everywhere in Belgium! Once found, it’s all about being low, positionning the camera for the foreground while cleaning the midground and background - which is very difficult in a dense woodland. Definitely worth a try! Wat Phra Ram (วัดพระราม) adalah reruntuhan kuil yang terletak di wilayah Pratu Chai, Ayutthaya dan berdekatan dengan Istana Agung serta Wat Phra Sri Sanphet di daerah rawa yang disebut dengan Bueng Phra Ram. Kuil ini dibangun sebagai tempat kremasi pendiri Kerajaan Ayutthaya, Raja Ramathibodi I alias Uthong yang memerintah dari tahun 1351-1369 M. Waktu pasti pembangunannya tidak diketahui karena berbagai catatan Ayutthaya memberikan tahun pembangunan yang berbeda. Versi catatan tertua, Luang Prasoet, yang ditulis pada era akhir Ayutthaya, menyatakan pendiriannya pada tahun 1369 M. Versi selanjutnya yang ditulis pada era pasca-Ayutthaya menyebutkan pembangunannya pada tahun 1434 M, setelah kematian Raja Borommaracha II (memerintah 1424-1448 M) dan naik takhtanya Raja Borommatrailokanat (memerintah Ayutthaya 1448-1463 M / memerintah Phitsanulok 1463 - 1488 M), sekitar 65 tahun kemudian. “Dan di tempat kremasi Raja Ramathibodi I, dia yang mendirikan Ibukota Raja mendirikan sebuah kuil suci, yang terdiri dari relik suci besar dan ruang dakwah suci, dan dia menamakannya Kuil Phra Ram.” Versi Luang Prasoet menceritakan bahwa Wat Phra Ram adalah kuil pertama yang dibangun pada saat Raja Ramathibodi I meninggal.
