“Desaparecer por Completo” (2022) 3.5 ⭐️/5 Luis Javier Henaine’s “Desaparecer por Completo” (Disappear Completely) hooks viewers with a psychological thriller. Santiago, a photographer, witnesses a crime and contracts a bizarre illness that progressively robs him of his senses. The film masterfully explores the isolation and terror of this situation through sensory elements, creating a suffocating and unsettling atmosphere. As the plot unfolds, supernatural elements weave in, adding mystery and blurring the lines between reality and the paranormal. Beyond the horror, “Disappear Completely” delves into human fragility and the importance of our senses in connecting with the world. It urges us to cherish what we have, as everything can change in an instant. The film shines with Tenoch Huerta’s performance, excellent cinematography and sound design, and its exploration of themes like the perception of reality. While the pacing can be slow at times and the explanation of the illness vague, “Disappear Completely” is a must-watch for fans of psychological horror seeking a unique and disturbing experience. #FilmCriticalSpace #CineEnFoco #ReviewRevolution #CreativeCinema #AuthenticReviews #FilmReviews #MovieCritiques #CineOpiniones #ReviewCinema #MovieInsights #ReseñasDeCine #CineEnFoco #CineOpiniones #MovieDiscussion #FilmAnalysis #CriticFilm #OpinionesDePelículas #MovieBuzz #CineInformativo #FilmThoughts #CriticalSpace #ReviewRevolution #DesaparecerPorCompleto

“OLX” (2022) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 The short film “OLX”, directed by Pavel Buryak and Alexandr Kryshtal, is a visual masterpiece that tells a touching story of everyday life in Ukraine. The direction of the film is exceptional, creating a captivating atmosphere that draws the viewer in from the beginning. The narrative, subtle yet effective, supports the main plot without being overwhelming. The visuals of the short film are stunning, with exceptional color quality and cinematography. Each shot is meticulously composed and captures the essence of life in Ukraine. The film delves into that human side we all hide, offering an intimate portrayal of ordinary people. Filming “OLX: Director’s cut of OLX image campaign” was a logistical challenge. Preparing and shooting amidst daily air raids, power cuts, limited winter daylight, and multiple locations demanded a great deal of effort. As director himself has expressed, it was an honor shared with the entire crew, a brilliant group of actors and technicians who faced those difficult but also rewarding moments together. Ultimately, “OLX” is a must-see short film for anyone who wants to understand the human experience in difficult times. It is a moving tribute to the strength and resilience of people and a work of art that will stay with the viewer long after they have seen it. #FilmCriticalSpace #CineEnFoco #ReviewRevolution #CreativeCinema #AuthenticReviews #FilmReviews #MovieCritiques #CineOpiniones #ReviewCinema #MovieInsights #ReseñasDeCine #CineEnFoco #CineOpiniones #MovieDiscussion #FilmAnalysis #CriticFilm #OpinionesDePelículas #MovieBuzz #CineInformativo #FilmThoughts #CriticalSpace #ReviewRevolution #OLX

“The Wonder” (2022) 4.5 ⭐️/5 “The Wonder” takes us to rural Ireland in the 19th century, where English nurse Lib Wright investigates the case of Anna O’Donnell, a young girl who has stopped eating for months but inexplicably remains alive. The film explores the clash between faith and science, as Lib seeks a rational explanation for the phenomenon while the locals attribute a divine miracle. Florence Pugh shines as Lib, a complex and nuanced character who navigates between skepticism and the possibility of the inexplicable. Sebastián Lelio’s direction creates a mysterious and oppressive atmosphere, while Ben Seresin’s cinematography captures the desolate beauty of the Irish landscape. The Wonder invites reflection on the nature of truth, belief, and the limits of science. It does not offer easy answers, but instead raises questions that will continue to linger in the viewer’s mind long after seeing it. In conclusion, “The Wonder” is a recommended film for those seeking a different and thought-provoking cinematic experience. It is a work that will not leave you indifferent and will continue to haunt you long after seeing it. #FilmCriticalSpace #CineEnFoco #ReviewRevolution #CreativeCinema #AuthenticReviews #FilmReviews #MovieCritiques #CineOpiniones #ReviewCinema #MovieInsights #ReseñasDeCine #CineEnFoco #CineOpiniones #MovieDiscussion #FilmAnalysis #CriticFilm #OpinionesDePelículas #MovieBuzz #CineInformativo #FilmThoughts #CriticalSpace #ReviewRevolution #TheWonder

“It could be you” (2024) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 “It could be you” is a short film directed by Lee D Barnes and written with Tom Whithan. While the premise is interesting - a woman crosses paths with a homeless young woman and decides to help her - the short film’s pace seems a bit slow and repetitive. Despite this, the story addresses a crucial issue: the reality of homelessness in the United Kingdom, particularly among young people. What is most noteworthy is the way the relationship between the protagonists develops. Through the actions of the young woman, who tries to sell objects and watches girls play football, we get to know her situation and her strength. In turn, the woman represents generosity, seeking to get involved and improve the young woman’s life. Technically, the direction shines with well-executed shots and creative use of editing. The music is also worth mentioning, creating an appropriate atmosphere, and the choice of songs like “Sweet” and “The Fight” contributes to the overall quality. In short, although the pace falters, the film stands out for its performances (Justine Geraghty and Adassa Gray Beaufort-Harwood), character development, and, above all, for raising awareness of the issue of homelessness among young people in the United Kingdom. #FilmCriticalSpace #CineEnFoco #ReviewRevolution #CreativeCinema #AuthenticReviews #FilmReviews #MovieCritiques #CineOpiniones #ReviewCinema #MovieInsights #ReseñasDeCine #CineEnFoco #CineOpiniones #MovieDiscussion #FilmAnalysis #CriticFilm #OpinionesDePelículas #MovieBuzz #CineInformativo #FilmThoughts #CriticalSpace #ReviewRevolution #ItCouldBeYou

“Révérence” (2023) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 “Révérence” is a short film, directed by Rachel Hemsley, that dives right into the world of dance. It’s a right emotional rollercoaster as we follow two dancers whose lives used to be intertwined. Tragedy brings them back together, and let me tell you, it’s a tearjerker. From the get-go, the film grabs you with this stunning opening scene in a dance class. The visuals are amazing, the music’s spot on, and the colours, well, they’re bangin’. As the story unfolds, you see this deep connection between the two main characters. They both started out on the same path, but life took them in completely different directions. When they meet again, it’s overshadowed by something terrible, but it also forces them to confront things and grow. There’s this powerful dance scene at the end, just the two of them in a studio, and it’s clear they both find some kind of peace, even if it’s just for a fleeting moment. It’s like love, art, and filmmaking all come together to create something truly special. Maybe the pacing could be a bit tighter in some parts, especially that last dance scene, but overall, “Révérence” is a blinder. The performances by Steven Byrket, Kim Marie and Sadie Kaitz. Austin are right outta the top drawer, and the message of the film is well worth a think. It’s about how life can be cruel, how forgiveness is important, and the power of art to heal. #FilmCriticalSpace #CineEnFoco #ReviewRevolution #CreativeCinema #AuthenticReviews #FilmReviews #MovieCritiques #CineOpiniones #ReviewCinema #MovieInsights #ReseñasDeCine #CineEnFoco #CineOpiniones #MovieDiscussion #FilmAnalysis #CriticFilm #OpinionesDePelículas #MovieBuzz #CineInformativo #FilmThoughts #CriticalSpace #ReviewRevolution #Reverence

Movie thoughts Argylle Background: This one I had really high hopes for, I must admit that my high hopes mostly depended on Henry Cavill. To be clear my excitement wasn't all because of Henry Cavill, the trailers really caught my attention. So it saddened me to see this disappointment of a movie. Thoughts/review: First i will say that this movie thinks that it is way smarter than it actually is. Because of that the movie is more complicated than it had to be. Then also when I watched it, it felt like it kept throwing plot twists in my face that to me was feeling really unearned.   But beside my problems with the story and writing there were a couple of terrible effect moments, those moments left me really disappointed. But at least there were some good action scenes, that were fun to watch. But it wasn't all that terrible, there were also some funny scenes. Then there are all the Henry Cavill scenes, he is greatly underused, for me he was the best thing in the movie. So Argylle is deeply flawed and underuse it's best assets by that I mean Henry Cavill. I'll give this movie a 5/10 #movietalk #talkingmovies #movieforlife #movietime #moviethoughts #movieopinions #moviediscussion #movieaddict #movieexperience #movies4ever #spymovies #movielover #henrycavill #henrycavillfans #henrycavillfandom #argylle #movienerd #amateurwriter #amateurcreator #amateurreviewer #amateurreview

“The First Omen” (2023) 3.5⭐️/5 “The First Omen”, a prequel to the iconic 1976 film directed by Arkasha Stevenson, has hit theaters in 2024 to a mixed reception from critics and audiences. Overall, the film is described as entertaining and well-paced, with a plot that grips the viewer from the start. The performance of Nell Tiger Free as the protagonist, Margareth, is praised, as she manages to convey the complexity of her character. However, many critics agree that the film fails to live up to the legacy of its predecessor, remaining a predictable story with underdeveloped characters. It is also criticized for its lack of originality, as it resorts to clichés of the horror genre without offering anything new. In short, “The First Omen” is a film that fulfills its purpose of entertaining, but leaves no lasting impression. While fans of the original film will enjoy it, those looking for a more innovative cinematic experience may be disappointed. #FilmCriticalSpace #CineEnFoco #ReviewRevolution #CreativeCinema #AuthenticReviews #FilmReviews #MovieCritiques #CineOpiniones #ReviewCinema #MovieInsights #ReseñasDeCine #CineEnFoco #CineOpiniones #MovieDiscussion #FilmAnalysis #CriticFilm #OpinionesDePelículas #MovieBuzz #CineInformativo #FilmThoughts #CriticalSpace #ReviewRevolution #TheFirstOmen

“Été 85” (2020) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 “Été 85”, a French film by François Ozon, follows Alexis, a teenager vacationing on the Normandy coast in the 80s. There, he encounters David and forms an intense summer friendship. Filled with joy, shared experiences, and a burgeoning connection, their bond is tragically tested, forcing Alexis on a path of self-discovery and confronting the complexities of adulthood. However, a tragic event will mark a before and after in their relationship, leading Alexis to embark on a search for the truth that will confront him with the complexity of adult life. The film stands out for its sensitivity and its ability to capture the essence of adolescence, with its raw emotions, its desires for freedom and its search for identity. Ozon masterfully portrays the intensity of first love, the rawness of pain and the complexity of human relationships, all wrapped in a nostalgic and evocative atmosphere. Through Alexis’s gaze, the film invites us to reflect on the passage of time, loss and the importance of memories. The soundtrack, composed of classic songs from the 80s, perfectly accompanies the narrative, creating a nostalgic and melancholic atmosphere that enhances the emotions of the story. In conclusion, “Été 85” is a moving and emotional film that invites us to relive the memories of adolescence, to celebrate the beauty of love and to accept the complexity of life. #FilmCriticalSpace #CineEnFoco #ReviewRevolution #CreativeCinema #AuthenticReviews #FilmReviews #MovieCritiques #CineOpiniones #ReviewCinema #MovieInsights #ReseñasDeCine #CineEnFoco #CineOpiniones #MovieDiscussion #FilmAnalysis #CriticFilm #OpinionesDePelículas #MovieBuzz #CineInformativo #FilmThoughts #CriticalSpace #ReviewRevolution #Été85

“Escape Room” (2019) 4.5 ⭐️/5 “Escape Room”, directed by Adam Robitel in 2019, introduces us to a group of six strangers who are forced to participate in a deadly escape room game. Each room they find themselves in presents a new challenge, a puzzle they must solve in order to move forward and, most importantly, survive. The film stands out for the originality and creativity of its traps, which test both the physical and mental intelligence of the protagonists. The characters, despite being a heterogeneous group with different personalities, develop a special chemistry as they face adversity and support each other to stay alive. The film not only entertains with its action and suspense sequences, but also invites us to reflect on human nature and the limits to which we can go when we find ourselves in extreme situations. The film keeps us on the edge of our seats until the end, with an unexpected outcome that opens the door to a possible sequel. In conclusion, “Escape Room” is a fast-paced and surprising film that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Girl interrupted - reviewing this is tough because although it's not the greatest movie or my favourite movie there's fewer movies that have felt more personal or had such a massive impact on my life. When I started this account for my coursework my tutor said that part of reviewing is pouring your soul into each review, coming up with the personal POV aspect that no one else sees because at the end of the day anyone can just tell u how a movie looks 🤷‍♀️ not everyone will get this movie told from the perspective of a young women dealing with mental health issues and sharing her life with other girls and their problems. The feeling of identifying your issues and understanding that they never truly go away but u can learn to deal with them and life with them is a story for so many who deal with self esteem and self confidence issues on a daily basis and I've never found a movie that opens this up as well! Winona Ryder is always amazing and a young Angelina Jolie is at her dramatic best ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Speak No Evil - thought I'd review something I bit more independent. Dutch film that is genuinely one of the creepiest movies I've ever watched and the horror of the film is how it left me feeling long term sick and I couldn't get it off my mind. It's a study in how far you would let things slide if you were out of your comfort zone and whether you'd allow yourself to be sucked in and be the architect of your own demise purely because you're too afraid to stand up for yourself. I hear there's an English remake coming staring James McAvoy but if u can't wait then check this out ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“Mirage” (2023) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 “Mirage” is not just a short film, it is a cinematic experience that breaks the boundaries of the genre and redefines the way stories are told. Through a unique visual narrative and dazzling animation, it transports us to a dystopian future where love blossoms against the grain of social norms. Director Hanson Ma, along with Jeffrey Su, Michael Wang, and Jennifer Li, captivate you from the very first minute with an innovative approach that dispenses with traditional dialogue. In “Mirage,” the story unfolds through vibrant imagery and meticulous special effects, creating a captivating sensory experience for the viewer. The plot revolves around a forbidden romance between two people from different social classes. Through fleeting glances and technological gestures, we witness a deep connection that defies the rigid structures of the futuristic society. In conclusion, “Mirage” is not only a love story, but also a reflection on social norms, individual freedom, and the power of love to overcome barriers. It is an innovative work that invites you to immerse yourself in a visually stunning universe and leaves you with a sense of fascination and reflection. #FilmCriticalSpace #CineEnFoco #ReviewRevolution #CreativeCinema #AuthenticReviews #FilmReviews #MovieCritiques #CineOpiniones #ReviewCinema #MovieInsights #ReseñasDeCine #CineEnFoco #CineOpiniones #MovieDiscussion #FilmAnalysis #CriticFilm #OpinionesDePelículas #MovieBuzz #CineInformativo #FilmThoughts #CriticalSpace #ReviewRevolution #Mirage

Movie thoughts Ghostbusters: Frozen empire Background: Ghostbusters: Frozen empire had premier on Wednesday April 3 in Sweden. So me and my dad went to see it and I bought the tickets as a birthday gift to him. Thoughts/review: To start with I will say that they don't seem to be able to make Trevor (Finn Wolfhard) the slightest interesting. Just like in Afterlife he is still as bland and uninteresting as before. But other than that the movie suffers from being overfilled, I mean it's just too many characters. But it isn't all bad, Paul Rudd is still incredible, McKenna grace is just as good as before. Some of the other characters got the short end of the stick, like for example Lucky. But despite its flaws i really liked the atmosphere of the movie, I must also say that I really liked Garraka the main antagonist of the movie. He really felt dangerous and like this big looming threat. One last thing, this movie uses way too much nostalgia, that's one of the things I loved about Afterlife, that it had a perfect balance between nostalgia and freshness. So what I'm trying to say is, that it is a good movie but definitely not as good as Afterlife. But still, I had a good time watching it so I would absolutely recommend it. I'll give this movie a 6/10 @ghostbusters @mckennagraceful #movietalk #moviereview #movieforlife #movieopinions #moviethoughts #talkingmovies #movienerd #movies4ever #movieaddict #movietime #moviecommunity #movietime🎬🍿 #amateurcreator #amateurreviewer #amateurwriter #moviediscussion #ghostbuster #instamovies #cinemagram #filmreviews
