🏡 💕Last month we helped my son and his bride move into their new home in Abilene. We are so proud of Madi & Noah and give all glory to God for the many blessings He has provided us all. I pray that their new home will be filled with love and with endless blessings as they venture on this new milestone of homeownership. 🐶 🌈 We said goodbye to our 12 year old rescue dog, Connor in March. He was such a gentle dog and the perfect companion. We miss him terribly. I want to thank Dr. Kline at Hooves & Paws in Helotes for helping us with Connor in his final hours. She was so gentle with him, it was beautiful. 💙 My kind hearted Uncle Norbert was laid to rest. He honorably served in the US Air Force and retired from Frito-Lay after a long career with them. He too was a gentle soul. He was always optimistic and a huge support of his family. Please pray for my sweet Aunt Mary as she navigates through life without her soulmate by her side. They were married for 67 years and were a beautiful pair, always serving others. ❤️Douglas and Faith will finally be moving into their new home. The renovation took much longer than planned but we are excited for them too! ⏳Doug and I will be empty nesters......for a VERY short time. 😉I feel overwhelmed sometimes and really look forward to our day of rest together. Joshua had a good Birthday! He choose a Beef Brisket Dinner from The Patio! The boys LOVE BBQ and I introduced them to The Patio about 6 months ago and they LOVE it! Josh also requested a Chocolate Costco Cake. Josh and I chatted about the weather today compared to when he was born. We actually had to switch his coming home outfit as it was Cold and Gloomy in April 2002. We had to put out an SOS asking if anyone had a jacket and pants outfit. Someone found us one at the last minute. Today it was Sunny and reached 75° and Josh LOVES this weather! Josh wouldn't let me take his pic today. 🤭🤭 He enjoyed his relaxing day! He asked me to say "THANK YOU for all the Birthday Wishes today." Today was Productive day. I was up and moving at 6:30AM. I got the ats Fed and then got myself ready for the day. Harlin and ao left at 7:15AM to head to Church. We were preparing Breakfast for the Men's Ministry Breakfast. I got the Coffee Brewed and Harlin started getting the Food ready. I cleaned the Kitchen while the Men's meeting was going on. Harlin and I finished at Church at 10:45AM. I ran into Dollar Tree to grab a few things. We were home by 11:30AM. We relaxed until 1:15PM and then headed to Costco for a few necessities. We were back by 3PM and Harlin and the boys put things away. We dropped Daniel off at work at 3:30PM and headed to Mariano's. We grabbed Panera Drinks oon the way home and we were back by 4:30PM. I unloaded and reloaded the Dishwasher and cleaned up the Kitchen. I had a couple of quick online projects to get done. I have been relaxing since 6:45PM. We will sing Happy Birthday when Danny gets home at 9:30PM. I had to make some phone calls as I needed to ask about Daniel driving me around. I needed to know can I be the Licensed Driver for him as he only has a Permit right now. I wasn't sure if I could since the Dr. told me NO Driving. I first called Bolingbrook Police and 3 different people didn't know. I then called IL Secretary of State and spoke with someone in the Medical Dept. They told me as long as my license is valid, then yes. She also told me that VERY rarely do Drs. or Police Depts report a Medical Emergency like mine. The State doesn't Medically restrict unless reported by those departments. I was told in High School that I had to be Seizure Free for a year before I could do the Road part of Drivers Ed. I didn't drive until I was 21! I find it interesting that the Drs. are the ones to determine when someone will be safe to drive. I guess it makes sense, but I truly thought there would be a seizure free period. Many states have laws similar to IL, while others have a minimum time period. I know I will NOT be driving anytime soon! I think something like this should be monitored by the State! 🛑🚗🛑🚗 Today was a "Get It Done Day". I was up and moving at 8:30AM and got my Morning Kitchen Routine done and then headed upstairs to the Desktop. I had something quick to get done on the Computer and then came back down at 9:30AM to make Breakfast. I went back up to the Desktop until 11:30AM. Daniel and I left at 11:45AM so he can help me run some errands. He drove me to Dollar Tree, Meijer and Jewel. We were home by 1:10PM. We unloaded the Van and then he left at 1:30PM and took Uber to work. I put a load of laundry in, did some dinner Prep and cleaned up the Kitchen. I switched the laundry and started a second load and then headed back to the Desktop until 5PM. I came downstairs and started the Pizza Dough in the Bread Machine and cooked up the Sausage. I switched laundry to the dryer and have been relaxing since 6PM. I am watching PrimeTime TV! THANK YOU EVERYONE for checking in on me today! I am feeling good and taking it easy! I am so GRATEFUL for the LOVE and SUPPORT and offers of help! All the concern and support has me humbled! I know that I have so much to be GRATEFUL for with respect to the events of Yesterday and so many people who helped and encouraged me. I am only on 2 restrictions per the Dr., No Driving and No Swimming. I told the Dr. I totally get the No Swimming restriction after a seizure. I actually had a seizure in a Hotel Pool when I was 10yrs old. My twin sister noticed and she alerted a couple of adults and they all got me out of the Pool. My twin sister saved my life when I was 10! It took me about a month and I was right back Swimming again. I am following the No Driving rule, a little fearful to drive again but l am sure once cleared I will! A friend told me "God isn't finished with you yet." ❤️❤️❤️ Today I "slept in" until 9AM. Nathan and I got the Pets fed and then we made Breakfast. I took it easy until about 11AM and then I had emails and phone calls to take care of. Harlin only worked until 12:30PM and was home by 1:30PM. He dropped Nathan off at work by 2PM. I finished with emails by 3PM. Harlin and I left at 3:30PM to go get the Van from impound. We were getting ready to call Roadside Assistance when one of the guys offered to help put the Donut tire on. We accepted his help and gave him a tip! Harlin came home and picked up Daniel so that Daniel could drive the Van home with me as passenger. We were home by 5:50PM. I did a small task in the Kitchen and have been relaxing since 7PM.
