Mon avis : Until I found you est une saga de dark romance de 4 tomes. Le point fort de cette dark romance est sans aucun doute l'action : les personnages traversent beaucoup de pรฉripรฉties, difficile est l'ennui mais allez savoir pourquoi j'y ai trouvรฉ quelques longueurs par moment (??). En revanche j'ai eu un peu plus de mal cรดtรฉ personnages, j'ai รฉprouvรฉe de la difficultรฉ ร m'attacher ร eux, certaines de leurs rรฉactions m'ont dรฉplues. Ce que j'ai aussi aimรฉe c'est que la relation entre les 2 protagonistes est loin des stรฉrรฉotypes des relations Kidnappeur/victime des dark romances classiques. รa fait du changement c'est bien. J'ai aussi aimรฉe le fait qu'ici ce soit la mafia irlandaise qui fait la thรฉmatique du livre, encore une fois รงa change de la classique mafia italienne ou espagnole. On accรจde ร une autre culture. They are sweet, adorable, silly and just everything you could want in a boyfriend, plus so much more. They give her the time she needs to figure everything out and in order for her to come to terms with what the three of them did to her. Grayson is the man we all love to hate. He really made me want to junk punch him numerous times. He is so thick headed and he canโt see whatโs right in front of his eyes, which made me so frustrated with him. I found myself screaming out loud over his stupidity! But DAMN, the explosive fire between Grayson and Riley was hard to deny and just oozed off the pages. These two together set everything on fire! And letโs take about all of the sinfully delicious moments that Royce and Logan have with Riley. I mean just WOW!! It was insanely hot, utterly spicy and so damn delicious that everything was on fire!! With the way this one ended, the final book in this trilogy is going to be extremely explosive in every way. Riley and her men are going to raise hell, dish out vengeance, and finally get that happy ever after they so desperately need after everything they have been put through.

Halfway through, The Event of the book happens, and it leaves me really wanting more! I admit, I've read some negative reviews about this and most of it seems to be from Rika haters and I don't know where the hate comes from? โi have been seeing some of my friends do this for a while now and thought it was quite a great idea. So here is a little BTS on Bound Little Bird, how it started, how it is going, and how we hope it ends. A little story; this is my first ever dark romance work. When the idea of this book came to me, I was still not sure how far I could go into writing something so dark, so I wanted to just write a novella to save myself from any future regrets or headaches. I didn't wanna end up getting stuck by writing something so voluminous. But then I started writing and the book developed a mind of its own. I told one of my friends that this book is getting too big, it might end up being as thick as a high-end fantasy novel the way the plot is going. She told me to find a perfect place to break the book into two and make it a duet. It was a good idea, so I took her advice and ran away with it. I started writing again and I told myself, nope, even as a duet, each book will end up being more than 200k words each. That is still too much for just a dark romance novel. I decided I would make it a trilogy. And I stuck to it as the best possible idea. So here we are now. I have written a substantial amount for book one as you can see in the outline in the post. Just about a few more word count and I could put a semi-colon to book one as that isn't the end of this universe. I hope to have the strength and zeal to finish the remaining part of this book and publish it next year according to plan. Your love and support means a lot to me in this journey. Mon avis : Il รฉtait temps que je me lance dans cette lecture bloquรฉe dans ma PAL depuis presque 2 ans. Ce livre cโest lโรฉquivalent de montagnes russes perpรฉtuelles. Le dรฉbut, trรจs accrocheur mais par la suite moins. Ce nโรฉtait pas mauvais MAIS je me sentais un peu dรฉcrocher. Mais arrivรฉ au plot twist du milieu du livre, LA รงa a commencรฉ a รชtre intรฉressant. Cโest ร partir de cet instant que รงa a montรฉ crescendo par la suite. Le dรฉbut manque peut รชtre un peu dโactions pour que ce soit plus accrocheur mรชme si elle arrivent plus tard dans le roman, compensant un peu ce manque pour tout contrebalancer et enfin nous tenir en haleine. Cโest une dark romance qui est trรจs centrรฉe sur la thรฉmatique du secret, du passรฉ cachรฉ. Cโest une dark romance รฉmotive, elle vous prend par lโaffect des personnages et รงa nous touche profondรฉment. On se met ร leurs places et on ressent tellement plus les sentiments รฉvoquรฉs En particulier le personnage dโAvril qui mโa fait beaucoup de peine et est la raison principale de mes nombreux post it utilisรฉs lors de ma lecture. La plume de Cynthia que je connais des annรฉes maintenant est toujours aussi apprรฉciable : fluide, pas trop complexe pour รฉviter de nous faire dรฉcrocher mais sans รชtre trop simplette qui donnerait le sentiment dโun livre mal รฉcrit : avec sa plume il est facile dโaccrocher au roman. Aprรจs avoir lu lโentiรจretรฉ des livres de Cynthia, ce nโest pas mon livre favoris loin de lร mais il รฉtait agrรฉable, jโai passรฉ un bon moment dans lโunivers de cette dark romance universitaire plus classique. At one point, I had anger, then happy tears followed by goosebumpsโฆ Sadie doesnโt know how to write a bad book. Iโm convinced of that. Every single book Iโve read by her, pulls me in, deep, and I quite literally canโt function for days. The chemistry between these characters is sublime. I absolutely love all three of them and felt like I was there. It was as if I was viewing their entire relationship, and watching it bloom, like a movie in my mind. There are simply not enough good things to say about this book. Please, please read the trigger warnings before you read!
