+ 𝐋𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐯𝐞 & 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐑𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝟏𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐫𝐮 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟖 르플레브 & 어소시에 륄리 1er 크뤼 2018 Leflaive & Associes 은 저명한 생산자 도멘 르플레브와 네고시앙(구입한 포도로 양조 하는...)을 구분하기 위하여 만든 별도 레이블. 모든 소개 문구에 해당 와인은 포도만 매입할 뿐, 모든 양조와 숙성은 퓔리니 몽라쉐에 위치한 도멘 르플레브의 셀러에서 동일하게 이루어진다는 홍보 문구가 달려있다. 륄리(Rully)는 꼬뜨 샬로네즈(Cote Chalonnaise) 의 세부 지역으로 1936년 AOC를 부여 받음. Rully는 특이하게 레드와 화이트를 합친 것보다 더 많은 양의 크레망을 생산하는 것으로 유명하다. 해당 지역에서 손수확된 포도를 압착한 뒤 다음날 퓔리니에 위치한 도멘으로 옮겨 발효와숙성을 진행한다. 20% 뉴오크 사용하며 12개월 오크숙성 후 병입 전 6개월 정도를 스테인리스 스틸vat에서 숙성한다. 👃 구수한 팝콘, 버터스카치, 익은사과 달달+레몬 시트러스 리치한 스타일의 전형적인 부르고뉴 화이트의 노즈다. 🫦 풍부한 산도, 인텐스 있는 흰 과실, 흰꽃, 감칠맛,미네랄, 어느정도 긴 피니시가 어우러져 전형적인 좋은 화이트의 느낌을 잘 내준다. + 네고시앙임을 감안하면 비싼 가격이지만 또 생산자를 감안하면 가성비인가? 잠깐 착각할 정도. Domaine Leflaive, Macon-Verze, 2021(도멘 르플레이브, 마콩-베르제) * Tasting Date: 2024. 2. 15. 동생 부부와 함께 마신 도멘 르플레이브의 마콩-베르제 2021 빈티지. 도멘 르플레이브는 풀리니 몽라셰(Puligny-Montrachet)에 위치한, 부르고뉴 최고의 화이트 와인 생산자 중 하나이다. 도멘 르플레이브의 그랑크뤼나 프리미에 크뤼가 아니더라도 메인 빌라쥬(풀리니 몽라셰 등) 와인들은 이미 가격이 너무 비싸서 그림의 떡. 도멘 르플레이브가 부르고뉴 남단 마코네 지역에서 생산하는 가성비(?) 와인으로 그들의 와인을 처음 경험해보려고 이 와인을 일본에서 직구했다. 연한 볏짚 컬러. 투명하고 옅다. 스모키한 미네랄, 오크와 버터의 고소한 뉘앙스도 조금 느껴진다. 레몬 커드, 열대과일 약간, 플로럴한 노트가 어우러져 약간 퍼퓨미하다. 깨볶는 느낌의 리덕티브 노트 아주 살짝. 산도 M+~H(거의 H로 봐도 될듯). 바디 M-~M. 입에서 짭짤함이 느껴지고 레몬맛이 강하다. 마코네, 마콩 지역을 생각하면 좀 풍만하고 리치한 스타일이 아닐까 생각했는데 전혀. 산도가 높고 바디감은 그리 높지 않은, 선이 가늘고 프레쉬한 스타일이었다. 서늘했던 빈티지의 영향도 있지 않을까. 2021 빈티지 부르고뉴 샤르도네는 처음 테이스팅한건데 좋은 산도는 일단 긍정적인 부분. 이 와인 자체는 잘 익은 과일의 코어가 높은 산도를 잘 받쳐주지 못하는 느낌을 조금 받아서 개인적인 취향에는 조금 아쉬웠다(음식과 함께 곁들였으면 마리아주가 더 좋았을 것 같은데 간단하게 빵만 곁들였더니 산도를 잡아주지 못한 영향도 있는듯). 그래도 도멘 르플레이브의 우아한 스타일을 느껴볼 수 있었던 데 의의를 둔다. 92점 * 애호가의 입장에서 와인의 퀄리티, 가성비, 취향을 종합적으로 고려하여 매긴 개인적인 만족도입니다. -——————————————————— [와인 정보] Domaine Leflaive, Macon-Verze, 2021 - 산지: France > Bourgogne > Maconnais - 품종: Chardonnay - 알코올: 13% - 글라스: 가브리엘 글라스 스탠드아트 - 수입사: 직구품 - 구입정보: 몰테일 다해줌, 약 11만원 - 재구매의사: 보통 #도멘르플레이브 #르플레이브 #마콩베르제 #마코네 #부르고뉴 #프랑스와인추천 #화이트와인추천 #부르고뉴와인추천 #샤르도네 #샤도네이 #와인테이스팅 #와인리뷰 #와인추천 #와인기록 #침착한보르도 #금요일의와인 #domaineleflaive #maconverze #chardonnay #bourgogne #maconnais #winetasting #winereview #fridaywines

와인 설명 Domaine Leflaive Clavoillon 2018 샤도네 복숭아, 시트러스, 흰꽃 오크, 바나나, 꿀, 크림브륄레 산도 - 중상 달콤한 열대과일류의 베이스에 흰꽃과 시트러스 한스푼이 얹힌다. 꿀과 크림으로 담담하게 채워가며 몸집을 불리다가 새초롬한 산미 밸런스를 타고 입안을 환기시켜 아련한 꽃향기를 남겨 놓는다. 르플레브의 끌라보이용 18은 풍성한 과실의 존재감과 전반적인 밸런스는 훌륭했지만 노즈의 강도가 아쉬운 녀석이었다. 핵과류가 많이 익었을 때처럼 풍성하고 달콤하지만 향기롭지는 않았는데, 마치 잘만든 미국 샤도처럼 바나나와 열대과일로 흘러버리려는 기운이 감지되었다. 산미도 괜찮고 과실도 풍성하고 적당하게 허발한 마무리까지 아니 이 정도면 상당히 맛있지 않나? ........ 하지만 르플레브라는 이름값은 이 정도에서 만족이 안되는듯 하다. 오늘은 시험에서 두개 틀렸다고 엉엉 울고 있는 우리반 1등. #wine #winetasting #winestagram #bourgogne #burgundy #chardonnay #domaineleflaive #pulignymontrachet #clavoillon #와인 #오늘은 #훗냥
[5/14 Wine Archive] 🍾 Dom Perignon Brut 2010 돔10은 접근성 면애서는 최근 릴리즈 빈티지보다 기분좋게 마셨고, 후반부에는 포텐도 꽤 많이 터져줬다. 내가 마시기 좋아하는 적기에 들어 왔다고는 못하겠지만, 08, 12, 13보다는 빨리 오지 않을까…?! 🥂 Domaine Leflaive Puligny Montrachet 1er cru “Clavoillon” 2019 어린 빈티지 탓에 처음에 슴슴하다 싶었지만 30분 이후부터는 무한 상승곡선을 그렸던 르플레이브. 버터스카치, 미네랄리티, 고소한 견과류, 참깨, 가스, 오일리 노즈 및 텍스처가 너무 힘있고 잘 아우러져서 마시는 내내 감탄만 나왔다. 레드는 확실히 숙성이 될수록 좋아하는데, 요즘 보면 화이트는 힘있는 애들을 풀어 마시는게 더 내 취향이 아닐까라는 생각도 든다. 🍷 Chateau Lafleur 2001 사실 얘가 궁금하여 참석하게 된 모임. 받자마자 초록초록 느낌을 많이 받아서 “까프랑 비중이 높나?” 생각이 들었는데 블렌딩은 60 Merlot & 40 Cab Franc 정도로 보인다. 전반적으로 과실보다는 계피, 가죽, 흙 등의 향이 강조되는데, 힘이 좀 약하다고 느낄 수 있지만 난 이렇게 다양하면서도 파릇파릇하고 마시기 편한 애들이 더 취향. 그런만큼 3시간정도 있으니 조금은 끝자락의 모습을 보여줬지만 내 궁금증과 기대를 충족시켰던 바틀! 🍷 Chateau Angelus 2001 약 25년의 세월에도 코르크 상태가 너무 짱짱하여 기대가 아주 컸던 바틀. 예상대로 초반에는 과실 쪽이 집중되었지만 후반에는 가죽, 연필심, 담뱃잎 등 노트들로 숙성 뉘앙스도 터지면서 후반 퍼포먼스로는 체고... 놀랖게도 위 라플레르와 거의 같은 블렌딩이였는데도 초록초록한 느낌은 못 받았다. 관리 상태가 너무 좋았어서 지금 마시기에 너무 좋지만서도 개인적으로는 5-10년 더 있었으면 더욱더 즐길 수 있지 않았을까! 🍷 Clos Apalta 2016 (donation) 블라인드로 받았는데 당연히 정확한 와인을 맞추는 욕심조차 버렸고, 까르미네르 비중이 높은 블렌드에 17-18빈티지의 웰메이드 칠레가 아닐까로 콜했다. 생각보다 근접해서 기분이 좋았다! 신대륙 와인은 거의 안사서 집에 와인 중 손에 꼽는데, 항상 만나면 너무 반갑고 즐겁다. . . . . #wine #winetasting #winelife #domperignon #돔페리뇽 #domaineleflaive #leflaive #pulignymontrachet #pulignymontrachet1ercru #pulignymontrachetclavoillon #도멘르플레브 #르플레브 #퓔리니몽라쉐 #chateaulafleur #샤또라플뢰르 #chateauangelus #샤또앙겔루스 #closapalta #끌로아팔타

As stated before: we are massive fans of @leprecatelan.fredericanton (3 Michelin stars, 19 Gault Millau) and this beautiful spring day we entered for a special lunch. Master sommelier Boris Thuillier decided to pull out all stops with a Puligny Montrachet Premier Cru Clavoillon by @DomaineLeflaive followed by a stunning 2016 Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru by Coche-Dury. The absolute dream wine! Paired with the delicate brilliant dishes masterminded by @fredericanton and crafted to perfection on the plate by the team headed by @mehdisgard we were just not willing to leave the table. The plan was to stay 2 hours but 4 hours later we were still marvelling over all the little gems we were enjoying. 1996 Leflaive Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Clavoillon - What an experience to drink one of these in great condition and at peak. Lovely nose that still has lots of fruit notes, lemon, herbs, limen, and minerals. It’s showing tertiary notes but continued to improve throughout the night and started to show a bit of creamy notes. Great acidity on the palate with precision, more lemon flavors, a bit of hay, and rocks. Long and lingering finish. Beautiful wine, this is how aged Chardonnay should taste. I particularly liked the balance between subtleness, weight, and power. The only minor things to criticize is that it could have a bit more depth, maybe that’s reserved for the Grand Crus... 2019 Cecile Tremblay Chambolle-Musigny Les Cabottes - Very pretty nose with flowers, darker fruit, cherries, earthy notes, and some spices that emerged with air. It’s quite fragrant but decidedly darker toned than the 2017 and 2018 at roughly the same age. There’s good acidity on the palate with cherries and strawberries, fresh fruit, and a bit of savory. Nice finish. Krug Grande Cuvée 170ème 375ml: Last time I drank a bottle of 170eme it was fairly taut and coiled up, but this bottle tonight seemed to be far more expressive and ready to go. Always so good! 2019 Dauvissat Chablis 1er Cru Montée de Tonnerre: Definitely still reticent at this young age, but otherwise very bright, clean and precise. Better with air, or ideally a few more years in the bottle. I enjoyed this but couldn’t help thinking that I probably should have held it for longer. 2019 Domaine Leflaive Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Clavoillon: This is excellent! Great tension and weight, with punchy acidity. Detailed and flinty, with lots of green apple & citrus fruit. Super bright & fresh especially considering its 10 year of age. Reduction was very subtle. Great energy & salinity with lemony aromas on both nose & palate and an almost Chablis-like minerality. Good density & concentration. Developed white fruit aromas and slightly creamier notes with air. The wine is definitely more on the elegant side, probably as 2014 was a more cooler climate vintage. An incredible dinner at the breathtaking Addison Restaurant in San Diego. Which we could not have done without the suggestion & assist from @veterangourmand as the experience blew us away! Not only are the grounds gorgeous but the food is excellent- so good in fact two (almost 3) of the courses might have been some of the best we have ever had on a tasting menu anywhere!! Green macaroon: Sake Cured Kanpachi « Nigiri » Bowl w/ kaleidoscope : Kanpachi Sashimi, Preserved Pear, Kiwi, Pichuberry-Ponzu Brown plate/bowl: Regiis Ova Reserve Caviar, Koshihikari Rice, Smoked Sabayon, sesame Meal paired with: 2020 Domaine Leflaive Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru Clavoillon (always a favorite). Had the ‘19 & ‘21 at the domaine so was really looking forward to this- and home run. Bought a case right then and there! Awesome juice. 2004 Domaine Henri Boillot Meursault 1er Cru Las Cras (a favorite producer can’t tout highly enough especially their most recent editions). This was in a great sport, beautifully paired with the evening and great contrast to the Leflaive. First 20 year-old HB and was a treat to try off the menu. 2009 Domaine Denis Mortet Gevrey Chambertin 1er Les Champeaux (have fall’n in love with this producer). Wine bursts from the glass with tremendous depth, delicious now but the last sip was the best- even for a 2009 this needs another 3-5 more years. Knockout in the making. 2014 Chateau Latour Grand Vin also a favorite wine and my first time with the vintage since at the Chateau. 2014 is Not up to the extreme standards from the Chateau but at the reduced price vs other vintages, a beautiful bottle to open now with dinner with a long decant or tuck away for a handful of years. The service was excellent, food delicious and the wines were knockouts. What a complete memorable evening we will not soon forget. We practically never carry-or-sell wines that weren’t directly imported from the producer: i.e. we don’t buy wine second-hand. The one exception, like today, is when we can acquire wines from a friend who’s inventory we know is bought directly and been kept to our standards (if you’ve been to our warehouse, you know we like to store our wine 🧊) by actually being in their cellar. A restaurant friend of ours - a Wine Spectator award winning one - is in a building going under construction, forcing them to take a hiatus. They have kindly offered some of the best wines from their temperature controlled cellar. Everything pictured is in our warehouse with photos of each attached. Beautiful, very intense and persistent reduction both on nose and palate. Impressive density & concentration on the palate, lovely acidity & salty minerals. Elegant balance between oak, citrussy aromas and white flowers once reduction vanished. Medium to full bodied with a long finish. 가까이 지내는 한 형이 삶에서 목표 중 하나는 사놓은 책을 다 읽고 죽는 거라고 이야기를 한 적이 있습니다. 누구나 자신을 강하게 자극하는 호기심과 열정의 영역이 있을 것인데, 나의 태만이나 혹은 세상의 풍파때문에 세월과 함께 희미해지는 것들이 있는 것 같습니다. 못다 읽은 책을 읽는다는 것은 삶의 여유를 의미하는 것 같아 공감이 되었습니다. 집에 와서 나의 책장을 보니, 다행히도 나는 내가 산 책의 대부분을 읽었구나하는 안도감이 듦과 동시에 읽은 책들이 상당히 낯설게 느껴지기도 했습니다. 내용조차 기억이 거의 나지 않는 책들도 있고, 내가 이런 책을 사서 읽었구나싶은 책도 보였습니다. 책은 텍스트 자체로 가만 있고 독자의 시선이나 사고가 시간에 따라 변화할 수 있지만, 와인은 와인 자체가 병 안에서 변화하고, 와이너리 자체적으로 양조방식, 양조가 등도 변화하기 때문에 한 와이너리나 한 와인에 대해 잘 안다고하는 말하는 것은 경계해야할 것입니다. Domaine Leflaive는 많은 경험을 한 도멘이지만 이전에 마신 와인들도 세월이 흘러서는 해석이 달라질 수 있고 지금 마시는 와인들도 조금은 낯선 것이 사실입니다. 이전의 Leflaive는 간혹 실망스러운 바틀이 있다가도 인생의 화이트구나 싶은 감동을 주기도 하고, 멋지긴 가장 멋진 친구지만 빈틈이 있는 친근한 친구였는데, 최근 경험하는 2019,2020,2021빈티지 와인들은 모든 것이 완벽해져서 나타난 결점은 없지만 다소 이전의 낭만을 잃은 친구의 느낌으로 다가옵니다. 여전히 가장 멋지고 화려한 친구는 맞지만 조금 달라진 이 모습을 이해하기엔 조금 시간이 필요할 것 같습니다. 어쩌면 사서 읽어도 이해하지 못하는 책들처럼 영원히 이해하지 못할 수도 있을 것입니다. 2019 Domaine Leflaive Puligny-Montrachet는 아주 익숙한 Leflaive의 느낌을 고스란히 갖고 있었지만 와인의 완성도가 너무 높고 너무 각이 잡힌 느낌이라 아이라니하게도 Leflaive같지 않은 어색함이 있었습니다. 다행히 조금 부족했던 와인의 풋풋함과 낭만은 옆에 있는 친구들이 채워주어서 감사한 밤이었습니다. #domaineleflaive #pulignymontrachet #르플레이브 #풀리니몽라쉐 #와인스타그램
Domaine Leflaive Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Pucelles 2017 오렌지 레몬제스트 참깨 린시드오일 타임 허브 쇠 미네랄 아주 퓨어하고 은은하다. 폭발적인 느낌보다도 모든게 적당하고 어느하나 튀지 않아서 향 밸런스가 너무 좋다고 느꼈지만 르플 퓌셀만의 특징적인 점은 느끼지 못했다. 산도 높고 살짝 비어있는 느낌에 17빈이 떠오른다. 고급 샤도에서 느껴지는 허브와 미네랄은 꽤 좋은 편이나 받쳐주는 과실의 힘은 조금 아쉽다. 부르고뉴 최고 화이트 생산자의 넘버원 프크인데 아쉬운 퍼포먼스는 많은 생각을 하게 된다. 역시 빈티지가 깡패인건가...
