The curve of the seaweed leads your eyes into the middle of the photo, then the rocks on the left push your eyes to the Three Cliffs themselves. Wales 🏴 March 2024 Before I start filling my squares with Japan pics (which I promise I will!)… I want to share one more set of photos from the UK, specifically from our time in southern Wales. It was Easter weekend and the first time we’ve been outside of the US during a major holiday so we wanted to make it special. Since we were road tripping already, we decided to head over to Wales, another new country for us, and see what we could get up to around the Cardiff and Swansea areas. As it turns out, we found plenty to keep us busy! We had some dreary weather, a fender bender with our rental van (goodbye deductible), and an incident that same afternoon where I locked the keys in said rental van 😳 BUT…. What we’ll remember most is how we got to enjoy beautiful sunsets, muddy hikes to waterfalls, visiting historic castles, learning together at museums, and meeting the challenges we faced with fierce camaraderie. Full time travel isn’t always easy…. Things can go wrong, people have bad days, kids get overstimulated, parents get overwhelmed, and all of that is out of our control.
