When Human Design and Astrology discovered me, I felt this deep sense of relief. Like I had finally been seen. Everything resonated so much; I dug deeper and found even more validation for my life as it stood. A complete relief to who I was, my life experiences, an explanation to my world as I knew it. But as I learned more and started to experiment with the basics, I noticed the magical transformations that everyone raved about weren’t happening for me. Why did this language of the cosmos seem so elusive to me while it seemed so effortless to everyone else? What I discovered? Awareness, knowledge of the language, was simply not enough. What happens with just knowledge of our codes is that we use them as an excuse, an easy way to explain away circumstances, our past, and keep us living small. But when we choose to be the embodiment of our design rather than just being aware of it, we are stepping into our next level. We challenge our circumstances and create opportunities. We grow beyond our imagination. Our designs aren’t meant to be easy. They are meant to push us to the edge of our comfort zones: discomfort=growth. They are a choice that we make every day, every second to become. And it’s through our embodiment that we rise toward our greatest expressions. I could use my design as an excuse for who I am and continue to see the same results I’ve seen my entire life: the fatigue, the exhaustion, the anxiety, the shame spiral of self-bitterness. OR I could use it as the beautiful, magical TOOL that it is. This is what it means to intentionally choose the higher frequency. To step out of the patterns of the past and not use your design as a permission slip for staying small. And this is exactly what I teach you to do within my work. It’s a special day.💗 Today I got to pick up my sweet friend from the airport, hug her and meet her IN PERSON for the first time. She lives in Maryland and we have been working together for almost a full year without ever meeting in person until today. It feels like I’ve known her forever. She is absolutely incredible and is highly successful, entering top leadership in less than a year is very uncommon but she did it!!! I prayed we could and would expand into other states….she got to be part of that answered prayer and she didn’t even know it. God is so good and faithful. I love watching her grow and make a difference. I am so excited she gets to spend the whole weekend with us and meet more of our amazing team tomorrow. Last year, I purposefully took a month off social media and didn’t take on any new clients in an attempt to really slow down. A lifestyle that includes a habit of rest has become the new “hustle” in my home and I’m so grateful. While I love all we do for Anchor, life gets busy with our company and raising three young kids. When you get it, you really get it. I heard this phrase so many times, it annoyed me. The phrase I follow to stand out to my ideal client is: “Be your authentic self.” Have you ever heard the phrase, “People buy from people they know, like, & trust.”? Well it’s absolutely true. But here’s the key point: People can tell when we’re being authentic. How? Seeing someone acting inauthentic is like seeing someone wearing a dress 4 sizes too small. It’s fine, but something just doesn’t fit. Your ideal client resonates with YOU. When you show up as your authentic self, people feel that energy. People are attracted to that confidence! But I didn’t know what my authentic self was for a long time. So I didn’t get the phrase, “Be your authentic self.” But now that I do, the difference is huge! Here are tell-tale signs you’re not clear on your authentic self: You see another coach/OSP doing really well and their colours are so different – so you start changing your colours You see someone doing really well dancing on reels so you start dancing on reels. Someone is using tons of emojis, so you start using tons of emojis. Basically, you’re all over the place because you’re trying on different styles of everything the same way we try on dresses at Zara. But when we’re our authentic selves, we know exactly what suits us. For ex, I know leopard prints & most prints just aren’t me. I know I’m not a person who uses emojis very much. I know I like a crisp, sharp, black & white esthetic on my Instagram because that’s like me. I know I like blue skies, blue water, & cappuccinos. That’s in my content a lot. I know I’m not bubbly or girly & I don’t try to be any longer. I know I’m all about empowering women with the confidence & strategy to build a thriving business with a full client roster. Take some time to figure out your “I know’s” Don’t forget that figuring out what is NOT your authentic self, is just as powerful as what IS your authentic self. And then show up as her. It feels so much more natural! It feels so much easier to be consistent! And our ideal clients see this! That’s how we stand out! Action step in comments! Sonja

We all know that life brings challenges... I’m well aware of the unhelpful patterns that creep back in from time to time - at the moment actually. Things I’ve been so careful to change on my journey to getting mentally well... have had to creep back in temporarily. Working too late, looking at my phone too late, not spending enough down time with my family, not meditating for longer than 10 mins at a time (30 mins minimum is my sweet spot) Slowly, I’m feeling the impact; bit teary, bit snappy, bit spotty! It’s at times like these I 100% commit to the gratitude practices and rituals I know keep me well. Seeing the positive in all situations, Recognising all the things I have to be grateful for. Flipping the negatives, seeing the lessons learned in it all. Honestly, it’s when pressures and challenges come up and I start to feel it build, that I’m so grateful for having learned these tools, rituals and practices. All these tiny things I have introduced over the years now help me to keep the anxiety of the past well away. Easy content creation that converts is reality. But this wasn't always the case for me. I used to sit in front of my laptop for hours watching that clicker click away on Word, wondering what in the world to write about today?? I felt so overwhelmed because getting clients for my new business felt so important! It mattered to me! And I didn’t want to fail! Plus there was so much advice out there about do it like this! Or do it like that! No, this is definitely the best way to do it! But which one would actually get a potential client to raise their hand??? It took me a while to figure it out. A lot of trial and error, a lot of learning, and a lot of investing in growth. But now that I know the content types that are the best for growing my business, content creation is so much easier! It takes me about 30 mins (an hour if I want to get fancy with reels or Canva haha) to create a really great post! But here’s the thing that’s more important to me…more important than any DMs I get… Creating content is now fun!
