In another shallow bowl, whisk the eggs and milk together. Freeze the mozzarella sticks for about an hour, or until solid. Dip the frozen mozzarella sticks first into the egg mixture, then roll them in the breadcrumb mixture until well coated. Repeat the process for a double coat. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place the breaded mozzarella sticks in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Make sure they are not touching; cook in batches if necessary. Cook for 6-8 minutes, or until the mozzarella sticks are golden brown and crispy. Turn them halfway through the cooking time. Serve hot with marinara sauce for dipping. There are an insane amount of convenience food products marketing themselves as “healthy” and “high in protein”. They may claim they contain “superfoods” or are gluten-free to make them seem “healthier”. When in reality, most are highly processed containing fillers, congealers, low quality protein sources, chemicals, added sugars, and other unwanted ingredients. I shy away from protein chips, processed gluten-free products, most protein bars, protein cookies & ice cream, and other packaged foods.
