If you have been following our posts, you would know our preference for Southern Italian grapes and wine. 🔸We were looking for some nice everyday white wine to be enjoyed at meals or on days when you want to have something nice but not extra fancy. We were recommended with this white wine made from two grapes Trebbiano & Garganega from north-eastern Italy. 🔸This bottle surprised us and we loved it. It was fresh, not sour nor dry, being true to the grapes it is made from. There is a gentle floral flavour and you’ll taste minerals when drinking. 🔸 One time we matched it with BBQ and once with Hotpot. Even from a lesser appellation, this bottle possesses decent intensity of red and black fruits, combined with cedar, smoke, as well as hints of tomato leaves, roses, and wet stones, lingering to a medium finish. Acidity is relatively crisp and clean, while fruit notes are also well defined. The wine is structured, while tannins are soft and medium.
