was really after writing this article on « Yoga for Seniors » that I realized that over the past 20 years, I have had the privilege of studying with different Iyengar senior teachers from all over the world, and they are all among the first to learn directly from Guruji. There are also teachers Rita Kelly and David Memloni who are not listed because I couldn’t find the pictures , the youngest is probably David, but now he is approaching 50 years old, and the others are basically over 70 years old and nearly 80 years old. In studying with them, I have personally felt what true inheritance is, what surrender is, what humility is, what unconditional giving and love are. Yesterday I practiced a lot of backbends, and today the body says let’s practice twisting and forward bending! After Practiced a lot of sitted-twists, then complete the Paschimottanasana forward bend series and finally hold the Paschimottanasana for 7 minutes. At the moment of coming out the pose, I felt the incomparably cooling and crystal clear sensations in the forehead, and there was an inexplicable sense of contentment and joy. While holding the supported plough pose for 20 minutes, I suddenly received a message: “Your self-practice is not for yourself, but for the students!” I was struck by the words and it dawned on me that that’s why I take the time to practice on my own every day. Yes! Because in self-practice, you will become a better version of yourself, and thus a better yoga teacher to serve more people. So, this physical body and I enjoy spiritual abundance and abundance more than material luxuries – that is, daily self-practice and study – because these personal experiences and feelings cannot be obtained or measured by money or any material things. In fact, I have always been very grateful for having enough time for self-practice & study almost every day. It is self-practice & study that makes me incomparably strong and empowered! This inner strength and incomparable energy cannot be obtained and measured by money or any material matter, because it is a real and it is inside-out abundance. It does not need any external things or other people to intervene, prove, or approve at all, it is truly self-sufficient. At the end, I hope everyone can be blessed with yoga. 側屈が好き❤️なぜなら私の人生観や生き方を変えてくれたから…🍀✨ ヨガを学び始めて数年が経った頃、修行中に側屈のポーズが出てきた。 あまりにも心地良くて、一瞬我を忘れた…😂 いつもと違った角度から目の前の世界を見ることで一気に視界が広がる…側屈が体も心も含め、自分の内側のスペースを広げてくれたんだと感じた✨ そして次の日… 私の中で大きな変化が訪れたのだ🍀✨ 『えっ、空ってこんなに青かったの👀✨』 私がそれまで見ていた空はずっと灰色だった…。 空だけではない…目の前の世界は全て灰色だった。 若い頃に『心』という落とし穴に落ちて、そこから抜け出すことができずに30歳過ぎまで生きてきた…一般的にはこれを『鬱』というのだろう。 15年近く…いや、もしかしたらそれ以上かもしれない…暗く狭い『落とし穴』の中から、ほんのちょっとだけ見える頭上のキラキラ輝く出口✨を見つめていた。 そこを目指して手を伸ばしても、必ず穴の底へ落ちる…そんな人生だった。 なのに… 側屈したら急にワープして外の世界へ出られちゃったの😱✨ それ以来、目の前の世界の全てがキラキラ輝いて見えるようになった。 そして気づいたのだ… 『目の前の世界は何も変わらない…自分がそれをどう見るか？によって変わるのだ✨』 …ということを。 だったら、いつでもキラキラ輝いた目の前の世界✨を見ようと決めた🎵 というか、ヨガを続けていくうちに勝手にどんどんキラキラ✨していったのだけど…😂👍🏻 修行を重ねた今なら分かる…私が落ちていたのは『心』ではなく、体・心・思考をも含めた『私』という意識、『アハンカーラ（エゴ）』という落とし穴だった。 私はそんな暗くて狭い『落とし穴』の中で生きていて、目の前の世界を生きることが出来なかったのだ。 *･゜ﾟ･*:.｡..｡.:*･*･゜ﾟ･*:.｡..｡.:*･ 自分自身の小さく狭いエゴから抜け出しなさい そして、広い視野を持ちなさい ースワミ・シヴァナンダ 『愛と奉仕に生きた聖者の教え シヴァ－ナンダ・ヨーガ』より引用 *･゜ﾟ･*:.｡..｡.:*･*･゜ﾟ･*:.｡..｡.:*･ グルデヴのこの言葉を知った時、今までの人生の全てが1つに繋がったように感じた🍀✨ 『落とし穴人生』の中での唯一の救いは『キラキラ輝いた出口✨』があることに気づいていたことだったな…🤔💦 アーサナは実体験として、ヨガの哲学を私たちに教えてくれる。 知識としての哲学ももちろん大切だけど、身をもって知った教えは人生を、生き方を、変えてくれる✨ だから私は毎日アーサナをする🎵 （側屈も毎日するっ👊🏻😂） まだ気づいていない『大いなる存在✨』からの教えを知るためにね…🙏✨ ˚✧₊⁎⁺˳✧༚˚✧₊⁎⁺˳✧༚˚✧₊⁎⁺˳✧༚˚✧₊⁎⁺˳✧༚˚ この体験をした頃を忘れないように、久しぶりに私のファースト #ジェイドヨガマット で写真撮ってみた🎵 そうだった…ちょうどこの頃、ジェイドヨガにも出会ったんだよなぁ🤔✨ このマットとずっと一緒にアーサナをしてきたおかげで、たくさんの教えに気づけたのだと思う。 #ジェイドヨガ 本当にありがとう〜🙌🏻💕 どんなアーサナでも安定して、安心して、行うことができるジェイドヨガマットの詳細はこちらからチェックしてね👇🏻✨ @jadeyoga_japan #ヨガ #ヨガマット #ヨガポーズ #ヨガインストラクター #ヨガインストラクターの日常 #ヨガ哲学 #ヨガ哲学を日常生活に活かす #側屈 #jadeyogamat #jadeyoga
