This weekend I had the pleasure to sit with community. Thank you @pocfungicommunity for the space and everyone that was a part of it. It was beautiful and absolutely intentional. Oftentimes I get asked about my logo and why reishi? Well, it came to me. Literally lol I was searching for peace and going hard on my healing journey after coming out of one of the darkest times for me. I noticed it on a tree and started to know more about it's properties and slowly started seeing them everywhere and the homies! Chicken of the woods, and other varieties all in the hood! Haha I developed a relationship and I'd randomly come across them and even went to Oregon to see more, but the universe always places me where I'm called intentionally. Looking back, I'm so proud and in awe of the way I cultivated a relationship with mushrooms first before I ever tried to use them for their medicinal properties. I started Microdosing recently after years of admiring and loving on them and it's been an honor to serve them in more ways than I expected. On a side note, they represent decay, death, rebirth, being in the dark, earth, Xochipilli, and so much more. All of which I do and also what's brought my adult self to embrace younger parts of me.
