The last time when I was cried for someone, I realised how terrible it is to feel void in a room full of people. At first, even I used to wonder that how can someone cry for a person who doesn't even care? But with age, maturity, scars and deep wounds of my heart I realised, it is possible to cry for someone despite knowing that they won't ever look back at you. We cry not because we couldn't make them stay in our lives but, we cry over the fact that how easy it was for them to mislay our hearts and completely abandon us from their lives. They won't look back and it's during this phase of your life that you'll slowly try to learn the art of letting go by keeping in mind their past memories. "It’s not the goodbye that hurts, but the flashbacks that follows." Goodbyes are just a small part of our agony which we gift our own selves for caring too much about someone who didn't even pay any heed to our existence in their lives. Despite being a heartbroken person, we still pleaded god not to punish them. It's not that love makes you a fool or a stupid person but it's your sentiments attached with that PERSON which doesn't allow you to wish bad for them. Because still today somewhere deep within your heart you still expect them to return, isn't it? We all are sufferers in the journey of life. Till we reach our final destination, life will keep teaching us several lessons through these painful experiences. But it wholly depends on you whether you'll allow someone to hurt you once or you'll allow them to keep touching your wound until the day when even medicines will stop working for your wound. Prepare your heart to expect disappointments even from the people who are an integral part of your life, else you'll end up becoming a victim of agony forever in your life.
