Not bored anyone with a physique update since I went into a bodybuilding hiatus so you can all be bored with this one😆 4 weeks into small cut and weight down a more sensible 1lb this week and another 1/2" off waist. Starting to get some shape back. To be lean I need another 10 - 12lb off, to approach very lean, another 20-25lbs. I'm not going mad though currently as strength building is still the main goal for comp but will keep chipping to see where I end up. Main focus currently has to be performance based for The Gathering as weights will be heavy. Took some pics yesterday as reference and comparing pics to when bodybuilding over a year ago I've clearly added size to legs, massively arms, delts and as always my back so this style of training is definitely working, possibly better than pure bodybuilding for sheer mass. My proportions have improved too. No change to any plans this week, calf nearly healed so hopefully can continue to push on. 4 weeks in now, 11lbs off and 2" down on waist and strength continues to increase. Not awful for a 46 years old has been. Pics from yesterday morning and not awful. I know how quickly I can pull it in from here but as said performance is key. I have pretty much decided I will be continuing strength over bodybuilding at least another year but will be aiming to keep a bodybuilder look as best I can. If I can recover my knee enough I really want to have one more push at Strongman and I want a huge deadlift PB, raw and suited. I also would love an Iceland trip to lift The Husafell and others to complete all the big historic stones. Bodybuilding will come back but pretty much decided it won't be for another year or two...as long as I can hold my body together. For now, the focus is pushing strength, fitness and continue to pull off the excess and see what I can do. Not done yet, the strongest version of me has not yet been seen. 800lb suited deadlift will fall. #TEAMOX leading from the front 💪💪💪💪

Last Sundays BPA Scottish Grandprix saw me placed 2nd (3 to 2 with judges) & whilst very disappointed with result very happy with the shape I brought, especially as I have been working around a serious shoulder impingement since October. This prevented me utilising many of the training tools normally used - no full range or heavy bench or DB Pressing, no Flyes, none of my favourite weighted pull ups or dips, no front raises of any description & very light DB shoulder work throughout. The theme this week is bathrooms and plumbing. In 1884, when the Cohen Bray house was completed there were two bathrooms on the second floor, taking advantage of the cisterns in the attic to fill and flush them. 1. -4. This “Jack & Jill” bathroom with pocket doors connects the Master bedroom and Emelita’s ( youngest child- who lived here for 90 years) bedroom. The lack of shutters allowed the sun to scorch the 1980 vinyl flooring . We replaced the flooring with linoleum, put film on the windows and added a curtain. Not a functioning bathroom at this point. 5-6The other upstairs bathroom was remodeled in 1980 by the Gillilands who didn’t want the clawfoot tub ( it’s now in the back yard.) Or to use any of the original fixtures- (they are all in the attic). 7-8. In 1898, the family was growing, (4 kids )so they changed a backporch into a breakfast room and finally added a small 1/2 bath on to the new back porch.
