In a hearing that lasted for less than five minutes, the Supreme Court directed Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to be released from judicial custody till 1 June 2024. The Aam Aadmi Party leader was arrested on 21 March 2024 by the Enforcement Directorate for his alleged involvement in the Delhi Liquor Policy case. Kejriwal will return to custody on 2 June, two days prior to the results of the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections. Soon after his arrest, Kejriwal filed a plea challenging his arrest under Section 19 of the Prevention of Money Laundering, 2002. Appearing for Kejriwal, Senior Advocate A.M. Singhvi had argued that his arrest did not fit the criteria stipulated under Section 19. He stated that the arrest was illegal due to inconsistencies in witness statements, suggesting that the witnesses were pressured into making statements against Kejriwal. I think it’s sweet that my team and I are able to finish the final draft of our KANTIL script on Valentine’s Day. Because, while it’s an epic, enormous story with so many themes (char), in essence, Kantil is a love story. 🧡 It started as a story concept during the Ricky Lee Writing Workshop in 2020. One of my dearest bestfriends, Jake, who is a co-producer of this film, knows the story when it was still in its earliest stages, and how it grew as “Kabhang”, then to “Purok Dose”, then to “Kantil”. Now, four years later, we’re here, preparing to put every page on screen. More and more people are getting onboard. I couldn’t be more excited. During the course of developing this script, I have fallen in love with the characters and the colorful world of Purok 12. And they have become such a huge influence to me as a storyteller (char). This story has gone through so much. It took months of arduous revisions, debates, bickering, research, and more. I am done with people telling me how stressed they are in life. As if stress is the problem. As if it is the villain. Let me say it loud and clear - Stress is not the problem, you are. I mean, your current inability to deal with stress is the problem. Everything is difficult until it is not. Remember the first day of learning anything - Driving, cooking, football, new language, speaking publicly. It was stressful, difficult, uncomfortable or overwhelming. 1. Stress is an indicator. Stress shows you that you still consider ‘that’ area of your life a danger. It could be confrontation, relationships, and making financial decisions. For your mind and body it is ‘life threatening.’ 2. Predict stress - observe your body. I knit my eyebrows, my breathing changes or shrug my left shoulder when I am stressed. How do I know? I observed my body under stress. Body senses stress at different levels. Most people don't recognise stress until it is too late. Observe these early signals. 3. Proactively get coached Learn from the experts. I wonder why more people don't do this. Everything that you are stressed about, someone is an expert at. Commit just one month or 3 months to learn from them. Online, offline. Whenever suits you. 4. Increasing stress incrementally You know this is an area of danger for you. Treat it with care. If you are scared of commitment then don't plan a wedding. Commit to something manageable. Start with 1 book that you will complete. 3 dates with one person at least. 5. Build a game - Create a personal secret scorecard to master that skill. Keep marking your progress. Practice it. At some point in our lives, as we get older, we have all received some type of pressure from our peers to maybe do something we do not want to do. It could range from things such as an illegal activity to maybe trying a food item you really do not want to. Peer pressure may be expressed openly (“just do it”) or indirectly (substances being available at a party). It can be hard to resist the pressure to conform, as one may feel as if they will not be accepted if they do not do what is being asked of them. Though it may be hard to resist, it is always important to remember to listen to your gut. If you feel/know it is wrong to do something, do not do it. With good friends, you should never feel pressured to do something or even have to offer an explanation or apology for not doing it.

I have observed that one of the biggest mistakes that we all tend to make when we are in the process of our own healing or mental health mastery is we're just too hard on ourselves. We compare how we're feeling to somebody else in our life and how they did it, and that's the fastest impediment to our own progress and success. In my experience, if you can simply just resolve that, "No matter what, I'm going to stop comparing myself to other people, and the only person I'm going to compare myself to is who I was yesterday, and how can I grow an incremental amount today" everything gets so much easier. As cheesy and as silly as it sounds, it's a mental discipline that you can build that then creates a feeling of momentum. Because every day you feel like you're making progress which gives you a sense of motivation to continue. But when you constantly compare yourself to an ideal of how you think you are or should be. You'll beat yourself up. You'll feel deflated. You'll feel like you're never gaining any ground, even though you are. You'll convince yourself you're losing the game even though you're not, and you'll stop trying to play. When climbing a mountain, the best place to stare is not at the top of the summit or at the other hikers. It is on the next 10 feet in front of you and stopping to occasionally admire the distance behind you. Whatever mountain you are climbing, please trust that you will get to the top eventually. ❤️ – Ty

Which of the 4 stress responses is the one you need to retrain the most? Little tip that you guys may find helpful: I have found that a key element to retraining all of these responses is learning to accept that sometimes you will feel uncomfortable. The degree to which you can "sit with" feeling temporary fear or discomfort will determine how effective you can be at responding to triggering stimuli in a way that actually serves you. Think of it as a skill that exists on a spectrum – on one end would be a complete inability to respond in a healthy way to difficult situations, and a total impulsive response every time. On the other end of the spectrum would be an unshakeability – being able to stay in a loving, calm state no matter what triggers you, and respond accordingly. Just be aware of where you sit on that spectrum right now, and set small goals to shift yourself in the right direction. Remember, your brain is trainable. With the Australian international travel ban in place, I missed my family overseas and the thought of flying to see them got butterflies in my belly. I've been traveling overseas since I was a young international student, and being aboard an aircraft always evoked mixed emotions. I recently put up a post on the 6 Depression Inducing Questions, and I wanted to also cover the ones that increase anxiety. Our minds are almost always asking questions. Some times we are aware of the questions that we are asking ourselves, like when we ask ourself "what do I want for dinner?" But most times, our mind is asking a question subconsciously – we are allowing our thoughts to go down a rabbit hole that may hurt us. When I was suicidal and dealing with a lot of anxiety, I was asking myself almost all of these common questions. In my experience in helping people overcome anxiety, these are the ones that I have seen pop up in my clients' thinking the most regularly. Through a lot of observation and experimentation over the years, I have come to find out that these questions will virtually always lead to a more anxious emotional state. I like to think of each of these questions as being like a big, red button that is on the control panel of your brain. Since only bad things can come from pushing those red buttons, it is important to build the habit of no long asking these questions, and to condition your thinking to go in a more resourceful direction. I have a whole list of questions that you can use as a daily journaling exercise to train your brain to think more positively by default.
