Your reminder that you shouldn’t always worry about what others might think of you and that you no longer have to fear looking „bulky.“ I went a long time without training my upper body because I was afraid of getting too broad. Of course, it’s possible to overdo it, but if you train your upper body 1-2 times a week and do the right exercises, there’s not much to worry about. You’ll achieve a nicely defined back, and the best part is that your waist will appear visually smaller. Don’t be afraid to work on your legs either! Just like with upper body training, it’s possible to overemphasize one area, like legs, without working on your glutes, but there are great exercises that focus more on the glutes. Your legs will still get worked out then, but they won’t get too big. My plan is coming out SOON, and it’s a great companion. First session back after a week of no gym and my head feels clear again 😌 I know I keep banging on about it but honestly this accutane malarkey is taking such a toll on my body!! I’m really having to take it easy as I’m on a high dose so my bones & muscles are ACHING. Accepting the fact that the first half of 2024 just isn’t going to be about the gains and hitting PBs, more so about moving my body and keeping as active as I can - the weights have been stripped right back and some weeks I’m only managing 2/3 sessions, but that’s just how it is.
