Many of my thriller besties @thrillerbookloversthepulse have read Audra McElyea’s work so I had to join in the fun and jump on her latest book! ✨ After an accident she can’t remember, actress Annette Taylor is confined to a wheelchair in her Gothic (haunted?) mansion with her estranged sister Sophia as her caretaker. Are you ready for a wild ride? I’m not sure we were fully prepared over at @thrillerbookloversthepulse because @audramcelyeaauthor left our heads spinning with her new thriller about a couple of sisters who agree to an exposé style reality show, one recovering from an accident she can’t remember and the other acting as her caretaker (and hoping to win fans back after a humiliating fall from grace). . Just a little something I’ve been working on 😉
Getting to type “The End” at the end of your rough first draft is kind of fun, but not as fun as it used to be. Because now I know just how much more work there is to do 🤦🏼♀️. But still, suspense book 4 (titled HUSH, DEAR SISTER) is out of my head and onto paper, so I call that a win for now! I should get edits for my book coming out later this year (ONE LITTLE WORD) any day now, and my goal was to get this done beforehand, so today—I celebrate!
