Really special, really rare night out on the town with the ENTIRE family! We all went to see “The Lion King” at the historic Orpheum Theatre, (omg, it has major Titanic vibes!!) on Friday, March 29th, and arrived in a limo, for even more pizazz. (Thanks, Limo Dave!) . But this night wasn’t just a random splurge… It was an incredibly meaningful evening for our family of eight. . Many of my close friends know that my dad, Calvin, had major heart surgery on Monday, April 1st. This day was looming over our entire family for months. While we put our faith in the Lord that He would carry Calvin through the procedure, it was still unsettling for sure. . Now, almost one week later, I’m happy to report that the patient is back home in The SSP and doing great! HUGE thanks to everyone who has reached out to me this past week and who has kept our family in your thoughts and prayers. It made a gigantic difference! . And, by the way, the play was AWESOME! I’m SO not a theater person, but I’d see this one again and again. Wonderful message. Outstanding music. Men, så bør vi som samfunn gi mer plass til reelle bekymringer. Ikke overse de. Ikke gjør de til "Ingenting". La oss heller gi det rom/lov å snakke om. Her, i det minste snakke med noen i nær sirkel el profesjonelle. Alle lever vi eget liv og må gå våre runder rundt dette. Du klarer det ❤️ Å velge selv, finne veien selv, finne verktøy og nøkler til mestring og et videre godt (nok) liv. Gir vi rom, får alt mer luft og blir lettere/mindre/kanskje borte. Vi bør som samfunnet åpne mer opp for å gi plass til enkeltpersoner, som medmennesker. Den kjente setningen om at vi ikke vet hvordan den ved siden av oss egentlig har det, så vær varsom. Jeg skulle ofte ønske å ta på meg andre sin smerte. Ta på meg andre sitt slit. Andres sin sorg over tap eller også urett. Jeg har hørt noen si det til meg også. Men sånn fungerer ikke livet. Du og jeg må, og jeg gjentar kan klare fint, å leve og lære selv. Vi kan likevel stå sammen. 🌲 ❤️🌲 Det er reelt at livet går opp og ned (rundt med hjerter på). -Det er reelt at vi lever nå og at tiden vi har er nå (vi trenger nok å snakke mer om frykten død. Som er en vanskelig side av livet). Det er mye som er sannhet for deg og meg. Men gode løsninger finnes, det må vi aldri glemme. Husk at vi betyr mye, er elsket, har flere roller i vårt fine ansvar. Quick Sunday night story. The other day we didn't have a donation certificate done at the Lemon for the Hospice Alliance when they came to pick it up. I could not remember how to do them so I said I'd get it figured out and drop it off the following morning on my way into the town. On my way to Hospice I asked my angel Friend Ed for a halo when I got there. I had visited Ed when he was there, before he crossed over. Pealed Frozen Backyard Eggs. I owe apologies. Someone had this picture of a perfect frozen egg, and they had pealed it, and it was so clear you could see the yolk, and I thought it was so oddly beautifyl, we should try it. Plus, it counts as homeschool science and is in line with the frozen /DNA modified dinosaur eggs from the book we are reading, Jurassic Book. So bonus. See how I rationalized that? We got 7 eggs this morning, and 4 were Frozen. Amber peals them, and they are not 100% solid. They sat in the house for a few minutes before she pealed them, and they were mushy. And the picture is not beautiful. This is the egg version of those bad cake decorating fails. 😆 🤣 Secondly, a couple of people have nicely tipped me off, and let me know I didn't have to compost the frozen cracked eggs because I could feed them to the pigs. Apparently, eggs are pig kryptonite. Who knew. So, in the next reel, I will show the piggies munching down on their frozen eggs. We had four eggs for four piggies. But... I forgot who told me, and I should be tagging them. I am sorry for forgetting who told me and who had the unpealed raw egg on display to inspire me to try it.
