Run 62 10km- I would have expected it to hurt, or be too long, or too hard after such a big day yesterday, but it wasn’t. It wasn’t the easiest run ever but I certainly felt strong, capable and good the entire time. Stayed to the slower side to preserve the “recovery” aspect but this was a good run. My muscles could deal. They *still* feel pretty good… and I certainly can’t complain about that. Day 5 I am thankful for my legs. My brother took this photo right before we started on our 30 mile backpacking trip, I have never done this before and I didn't practice or train. I just dove right into it and started hiking, with nothing but the essential on my back. The cold mornings and the rainy nights made it for a hard day but the view of Gods creation was well worth it. Doing something that my body has never done before made me feel powerful and thankful that have I have the ability to do it. I am thankful that I have legs, what are you thankful for?
