✨ i love as a pregnant mama not having to reach for tums whenever I’m bloated, having morning sickness or feel the heartburn coming on. When Daisie is having tummy problems it’s a simple fix for us which is why I’m falling more in love with these oils. I can’t wait for when the baby is here and taking a less chemical approach caring for him and seeing how well they’ll work! 🌱 the other night, Justin was having some stomach problems so I put some Digize & coconut oil on his stomach and rub counter clockwise to help his food digest. 2 minutes later he came out and told me it was already working. I was impressed the first time I used it and how instant I felt relieved. ✨ Essential oils are powerful which is why you dilute it with pure carrier oils, I use coconut oil. Not to mention, making your money stretch longer. 🌱Yes, it matters what kind of oils you use. The ones you buy from Walmart & Target are topped off with more chemicals and reducing effectiveness of oils. Quality matters, coming from plants matter and goes a long ways.

It’s been hard to wake up early all week to get a workout in. I’m sure there’s a million reasons and it’s so easy to hit snooze but I got up anyway and got it done. I’m so grateful that I can roll out of bed and push play in a matter of minutes. No drive to the gym, no making sure I look decent, just get up and get it done. This time in the morning before anyone else is up and the house is dark is my time. Just me, my trainer and my weights. I have never regretted getting up and getting it done. I have more energy throughout the day and take deep breaths when needed. Feeling stronger feels good. I normally would consider this too "riskay" to post, but you know lately I'm all about being true to myself and this is part of me!! In honor of #worldbreastfeedingweek and this being my last baby (insert ugly cry 😭😭) I figured, why not?! I am so thankful to have been able to have this special bond with both of my babies. Still kickin it with this 21 week bump! I made it my goal this pregnancy to keep lifting weights and to maintain more muscle! With Evelyn, I gave up lifting and resorted to just walking really early on for fear of hurting her.. in reality, lifting has been the best thing for my pregnancy this time around! I pushed past my anxieties and I feel so good because of it! Here’s a list of some of the benefits of weight training during pregnancy! 😊 - Fewer problems experienced during childbirth - Enhanced post natal recovery - Lower incidence of backaches and less severe headaches - Enhanced body image - Feelings of wellbeing and happiness, and a positive self image -Increased energy levels - Increased flexibility - Increased aerobic capacity - Better circulation of blood to the extremities - Greater muscle strength and coordination, which helps with adjusting to increased bodyweight and changes in balance. - Pregnancy-related constipation avoidance Thankful I’m able to stay active and move my body during pregnancy, as well as show my soon to be daughters how important it is to take care of our bodies! Hattie Joan arrived!! I was in labor all day Tuesday while I was working from home. It progressed slowly throughout the day and after work we headed to @babycocary to get checked. I'll save the details for a soon-to-come blog post, but at 2:39am on Wednesday, September 27th (a day before her due date), I finally got my natural, water birth and this precious 8lb 3oz, 20 1/2 inches long bundle of love made her appearance. It was one of the most challenging things I've ever done but I'm thankful for the support of my midwives and nurses who pushed me through and got baby girl here safely. 250 classes DONE for the wonderful Meredith M.!! Not only did she hit 250 classes this, she did it this morning in the 6am, which was her FIRST 6am EVER!
