You cannot control the things that happen to you. But you can control how you receive them. This takes practice. Lots and lots of practice. In the past I used to miss people a lot when they weren’t around, and it used to make me feel sad when they were gone or not around, but changing my insight on how I feel made so much more sense. Why did I miss them? Because I loved them? But isn’t love a beautiful thing? Shouldn’t it be celebrated? I realised when I missed someone it actually meant that I loved them, and love is a wonderful feeling to have.
