As a business we have struggled on many occasions to find our way. Life and business has become overwhelming for many reasons. You would think as we both have our individual businesses this would have been easier. But let us tell you it has been difficult and we have had many ups and downs. Sometimes life throws us a curve ball but we always learn to overcome this. On many occasions we felt lost and have needed to re focus. Sometimes we feel we are getting on top of things and then we find ourselves lost again. When was the last time you felt overwhelmed, and how did you cope with it? We have so much to do in business and don’t always find enough time. We get everyone has the same hours in a day and it’s about how we spend our time. But it’s feels like nothing ever comes to an end. It’s not just our partnership business we are overwhelmed with, there are other areas of life that have been overwhelming. It’s also not just feeling overwhelmed it’s the lack of motivation, feeling tired and drained, getting annoyed with ourselves and procrastinating BIG TIME! It comes down to being around the right support and we’re lucky to have each other. We also have a great network of people we can reach out to when we need. Happy Hump Day!đŸ„ł Tomorrow is another public holiday in Germany. Mommy finally has more time for me. The last few weeks have been very stressful and exhausting. We're going through a lot of upheaval at the moment, but more about that soon, when Mommy can see a bit more clearly. 👀 Mommy has to go back to work on Friday, so we don't have a long weekend. But, it’s important to remember that the stress symptoms can be eased using the above ways, and stress is just another one of your imperfections. For the longest time, I suffered from IBS and other stress symptoms, headaches included until I started recognising them as anxiety symptoms and I just sat with them for a while, either putting a comfort movie on or just tried to sleep through them. Writing time âœïžđŸ“– Attempting to get some plotting and planning done today to keep my mind busy. I’ll be working on my fantasy WIP and I’m excited to be back in the world of it all! A little life update for those who don’t follow me over on X (Twitter) as well: our gorgeous older cat, Tom, had two seizures on Friday and we have been on constant monitoring of him since. The vets have told us that another seizure could mean us having to consider some very difficult decisions about what is kind for him right now, as they cause him a lot of pain. It’s devestating. It’s been a lot of sleepless nights and stress and anxiety the past few days. If we can get through this next week seizure free then it may be a sign that we will be alright for a little while longer. I’m so in love with the way I have learned to treat myself. I no longer ignore the warning signs my body is giving me that it is about to break. I no longer have to consume to feel. I no longer have to push my body to the limits in order to fit in with societies standards. I no longer suppress my needs to make others feel whole. I no longer dim my light so others can shine. I no longer do things my body is telling me it doesn’t want to do. I no longer say yes even when I really want to if my body is saying no. I no longer consume things I know make my body feel bad for instant gratification. Now I move my body in ways that feel right and in line with how I’m feeling on the day. Now I eat what I know makes me feel good, gives me nourishment and doesn’t make my body react. Now I make myself a priority first before connecting with another human. Now I support my body by learn in g the tools and modalities to keep the energy and fluids moving efficiently. Now I know my body on the deepest visceral level so I know how to support it through any life situation. Now I give my body the space to rest so it doesn’t constantly have to be on the go. Now I connect my body to nature multiple times per day because I know how powerful it is that we are in the most natural environment possible to thrive. I treat my body with the respect it deserves, and I know it deserves it. It has done everything possible to keep me safe and alive up to now and I will honour it for doing so. At times we can’t see the woods for the trees.. we fall into victim mode and blame others and life for bringing us down.. When you being to understand that you play a huge roll in each life situation you being to zoom out and see the bigger picture This is where the juicy stuff lies. The situations in your life are there to guide you on your path, usually it’s to support your growth and learning, your evolution. The situation is there to make you feel uncomfortable, to help you learn how to stand up for yourself and even to project you forwards to something you want or have asked for đŸ’« So let’s take a zoom out and look at the bigger picture.. Have you asked for the man or your dreams but keep being faced with the same kind of guy over and over, look at the triggers and red flags that are coming up, what is it you need to learn, boundaries, your voice, self worth? Maybe you’ve asked for the job of your dreams and you’re being bullied in your current job, are you being pushed out in order to take the leap you’ve been avoiding, do you need to start searching for a new job? Have you been wanting to get fit and healthy but you’re continually spending all of your money going out on the weekends, eating rubbish and lacking sleep? Do you need to learn some discipline, cut back on your spending so you can afford to hire a coach instead? Maybe you keep falling sick but refuse to change your lifestyle! When you can zoom out of the current story and stop blaming the person who is there presenting the lesson, you get so much understanding of what you should be taking from the situation.. Like total ah-ha moments! 💡 So be aware of your own bullshit! Stop blaming others for what’s happing and take a look outside the box for what you could be learning or changing to empower you further on your journey! Cho cho choose curiosity every time! What a crazy & stressful few days I have had with very unexpected things happening.. 😅👎 I had to take my Bobby boy to the vet yesterday for the first time since I've had him. My wee boy has managed to sprain his front left leg & is on some anti inflammatory medication for a few days. He's now on the mend thankfully! 😌🐈 Also thankfully my handsome FiancĂ© is now on the mend too after him being very unwell. Firstly I write this from hospital A&E been here all day, not me this time my partner who’s very unwell with his bowel again. But I’m also extremely unwell & struggling. Probs need to be here for myself too. But I’ve been in the doctors this morning due to a list of ongoing medical issues. Firstly I have another double infection. Quite severe, right ear full of gunk, left ear full of fluid. And I’ve got low grade fever. So my temps up a fair bit. So back on antibiotics again. 31st course since this has all been ongoing. I am EXHAUSTED. We then discussed my fertility situation & I broke down. We then went on to my bowel. And my recent symptoms ongoing with urgency, blood/mucus, stoma blockages/ swelling & prolapsing I was admitted into hospital in January & many others times as you can see. She examined my tummy first my left side was extremely tender & sore. It could be my colon or ovary or both. I then had to have a DRE which stands for digital rectal examination. It was BRUTAL!! Legit screamed the doctors down. She was very very concerned & has requested I have an urgent colonoscopy. So I need both now an endoscopy too. Under a general anaesthetic. I then briefly discussed my undiagnosed tic & migraines & a referral has finally gone in for neurology I thought it already did. So she’ll be writing to ENT & the bowel surgeons explaining how urgent it now is. What have you been struggling with recently? Here’s mine đŸ‘‡đŸ’« I think I’m pretty open about my life struggles, and make sure my instagram isn’t just a “highlight reel” I try and keep it real, open and as raw as I can. I can definitely say I’ve worked hard in creating the most beautiful life for myself but it’s by no means perfect- don’t ever think anyone has it perfect btw.. Some things I’ve been struggling with recently: Connecting with new clients: it’s so difficult to market yourself especially on a small island. Most of my clients recently have been in person through word of mouth, which I absolutely love because I can do hands on work with them as well as coaching and that in person connection always adds a little more magic as well as trusting that my work is speaking for itself through my client referrals đŸ’« Feeling secure: working and living on and island where the rules are always changing can be difficult, struggling with an underlying worry that there’s a possibility you may not be able to stay is unsettling but I really believe in my heart this is my home and trust that the universe will keep me here 🌠 Trusting the process: the past year or so I’ve been diving deep into my shadow side and that comes with huge lessons. A few nights ago, I went to the Masqueerade event at school hosted by @umassdpridealliance and I had a blast.😁🌈✹It was Ancient Greek themed. I didn’t look all that Greek, but hey, it’s all Greek to me. Heehee. Anywho, I put a lot of effort into painting, glazing, and decorating my mask so I was very excited, but I tend to get quite nervous at social events, so I wasn’t sure I would be able to enjoy it as much as I hoped at first, but that couldn’t have been further from what actually ended up happening. A friendly reminder, as I’m headed into my second meditation this year
 First a little about why I’m doing another one so soon.. After my retreat in January, I managed to get through in just 8 days.. average is around 11, I went straight into a pretty deep lesson which was challenging in a good way but took a serious amount of energy away from me. It was a well needed lesson, something I keep tripping up on again and again in life and something that is for sure keeping me stuck in certain areas. I definitely dealt with it 200% better than I ever have done in the past but I still have a long way to go in understanding my worth in this kind of situation and setting stronger boundaries. I’m into a much deeper level of understanding about the retreat now and I’m going in with a fresh perspective on how I can use the process to gain more insight and clarity on how to move forward in my life. The reminder is you are completely up to you, you have the power to do what is needed to make change in your life, health, mindset, relationships, work, money circumstances- no matter what it is you are going through you CAN change, even if it is just your mindset around the situation. I caught myself slipping.. One thing I vowed was to never be in a relationship that mimicked my parents. It was constant turmoil in the household, there was never any love, zero communication, no support and constant nit picking and bullying. My relationships always mimicked this, I was always the one who would be trying to make things better no matter what the cost, I always seen the best in people and gave way too much And I always allowed way more than I should have because I was hurting and desperate to be loved. After eventually only a few years ago finding my voice I vowed to never allow someone to treat me that way again and I found the power within myself to walk away. Understanding myself more I took two years away from being involved in any kind of relationship while I worked on my own healing, I became completely disinterested in guys and loved finding myself, who I am, what I like and finding the strength to support my boundaries. I met someone recently who continued to not listen to those boundaries, I understood he was a very good energy with a really beautiful heart but time and again he would continue to not listen when I asked for his support in a certain area. The issue was quite abnormal and left me feeling very hurt and confused every time but still he would continue do the same thing even after very clear communication. The reasons I say I let my standards slip and why I’m sharing was because I wanted him to change and he couldn’t understand the problem. You cannot change people, you cannot help them understand you when they’re committed to miss understanding. He gave me very clear signals he didn’t care, dispite telling me over and over again over the course of 3 months that he missed me and wanted to see me. Understand: listen to their actions not their words, listen to your body, listen to your gut, listen to your overall physiology. Put yourself over anyone, especially those who show you time and again that you aren’t their priority. How I began to love myself so powerfully.. 💕 It’s taken me a LOOONG time to get to this point. I can now say that I love every inch of who I am, what I look like and how I interact with the world. The reason for this is the intense and deep work I’ve put into myself for the past few years. I’ve learned that a lot of who we are is just conditioning, from our caregivers, the people we surround ourselves with, family, work colleagues. A lot of my fears were engrained into me by my parents, and most (if now all) were completely unnecessary. I’ve always had a naivety about my that got me into so much trouble when I was younger (almost landed me in prison at one point) because I just didn’t realise people could do bad things to others knowingly- and this was well into my 20’s I felt so much shame for that time, being in and out of a police cells and court rooms trying to tell people I really didn’t think I was doing anything wrong, they told me I had been incredibly naive (but that I still did the wrong thing) and it was so disheartening. I’ve always seen the best in people, to a fault, always given way more than I should and allowed way more to go on than was necessary, this caused so much pain. When I began to do the deep inner healing work I realised a lot of the things I was carrying were not mine at all, the anger I had suppressed, the shame and guilt, the fears. I know now that I’m pretty carefree, I love so deeply, I’m silly and funny and can make people smile I take care of myself MASSIVELY, and I’m so proud of who I am and what I stand for. I know the things I’ve been through in my life have catalysed this huge exponential growth inside of me that has exploded this past year. I know now that my thought processes are my own and that I don’t need to carry the weight of my past. It’s so freeing, I feel light again, I feel connected and supported and it all came from finding so much love and appreciation for myself and doing the work, every day. How many times have you pretended you’re ok when you’re absolutely not? Is life throwing you a shit show right now? Are you stressed with everything going on and letting that affect your health? This is something I’ve trained myself to deal with. If you’ve followed me for a while you’ll know that my life has been one huge trauma after another
 like can I catch a break please! 😅 It’s sometimes difficult to get on top and you feel like you’re constantly treading water. One thing I trained myself to do many years ago was to take care of my happiness regardless of the situation. This doesn’t mean spiritual bypassing or not dealing with your problems. It means taking into account everything you have going on, putting the work in to support yourself, seeking help when you need. But also, doing things daily to support your happiness. You HAVE to work on finding happiness daily to boost your mood to get you through the tough times. If not then you will be dragged down. One of my favorite positive psychology tools is a happiness checklist, it’s something I used to pull me out of a very tough time in my life where I couldn’t see a way out. I made sure I did numerous things daily to support my happiness even though I felt my life was going to shit. And it works! Having tools to lift your mood is essential to break the cycle, and why I became a Positive Psychology Coach. I knew how powerful it was to change your mindset. I feel like my whole face and body have changed since my last meditation retreat in January. I’m not sure if it’s just pure peace, joy and happiness radiating through me, there have actually been some physical shifts, or it’s just that I’m coming more and more home to myself, feeling more and more comfortable with who I am. But I can see in my face, maybe even just my energy or aura that I just look different. A few of my closer friends have confirmed. For sure I’ve dropped shit loads of inflammation which causes you to look like you’re carrying more weight, can make your skin worse, like blemishes and wrinkles. But to feel this good and even feel like I look different is such a huge bonus to the work I’ve been doing. I can feel the difference within myself, the way I can just sit and wait in calmness for my nervous system to respond when I’m going through a tough or triggering situation. The speed at which my body bounces back after I eat something that would normally cause a reaction. The openness I can feel in my body where there used to be insane tension. The way I know exactly how my body is going to react to each stressor and the cascade of events that will follow and the protocols I have in place to support myself through each different thing. The way I don’t react to things that would once cause me problems for weeks on end. The way my body doesn’t hold onto inflammation or excess fat even when I don’t exercise for extended periods of time. The way I don’t worry anymore if shit hits the fan The way my skin glows instead of being dull, where I can wear minimal makeup and still feel confident. The way I absolutely adore who I am and what I do in the world. That my friends is true healing, That my females is what I teach you through my work That my friends is how you live your life to the max! I look back all of the time (not only at my ass in the mirror) but for other reflections. I always look back to see where my current life patterns are coming from. I used to believe it wasn’t good to look back but not I realise it has been an essential part of my growth and learning. The things I’ve been through have catalysed my current work. Not everyone needs to look back, for some it may be way too painful, for others there may only be amazing memories. For me memories were suppressed, I can’t actually remember many good times.. As a coping mechanism I blocked the all out. I remember someone asking what’s your greatest memory as a family and I literally struggle to think of a time we were all together in a good space. Some birthdays, but we never did anything special, we could never afford family trips and one parent was always working. I look back now not to remember the shame, anger, sad and fearful parts of my life to feel resentment but to help it drive me forwards To learn about myself and my issues on a deeper level so I can heal, grow and support those around me. I look on those times as my life, as what I needed to experience to set me powerfully on my karmic path, to push my hard into my true north My true north is to support you through whatever physical and emotional pain you are going through. To stand powerfully in my most healed body and mind to show you that it can be done, and to give you the tools to support your body to do the same. The more in tune with your own energy you become the more magnetic you are.. Today ended up the most epic experience, I was asked to do a photo shoot for the amazing @thebeachsamui to support an experience that I’m offering to their clients. I got asked to model for their ice bath shoot with the awesome men’s coach @tiyz.coolen We were gifted a beautiful lunch and then I was asked to stand in as the model for the yoga instructor
 in the elephant sanctuary! What a beautiful day I’ve had playing influencer đŸ˜†đŸ’đŸœâ€â™€ïž A lot of it (especially the public shoots) were out of my comfort zone, but obviously I brought the energy and joy to the experience. It’s funny how things work out when you’re enjoying your time and living your life to the full. People look at my life and tell me I’m so lucky.. But the people who know me on a deeper level know how much hard work I put in daily to make sure my life is top shelf energy. Thank you @kellyfitt33 for being my creative director and wing girl! I still love to go out dancing so nature will never replace a nightclub 😆đŸȘ© but the feeling I get when I’m grounded in nature is beyond comparable to most things I’ve experienced. Like when I’m truly grounded and present in the moment, absorbing all of the beauty, it’s the most beautifully calming and peaceful feeling. I’m consistently in awe of nature and its beauty, and I have an extreme abundance of it right outside my door! Did you know that awe is a powerful emotion and actually, one of my top character strengths is “Appreciation of beauty and excellence” and through this I experience the emotion of Awe multiple times daily. Whew what a week! In this edition of ig diary Me and Casey @scentventurous always vent things on this platform A few things happened and I supported a family member through a hospital stay. I’m achy from the bad hospital furniture but the patient is doing well and on the road to recovery praise God! Just about all my posts last week were scheduled. I have not been active on here due to the life things lifeing
I tend to drop most everything in the moment so I can focus on the critical stuff that must be handled immediately and thankfully the critical moments usually pass and then allow for new slower paced routines to be established which is what will begin to unfold in the coming weeks now that the critical things have been addressed last week Some of you have dm me to ask me to look at your recent posts and support. . On a bright side, as I walked to calm my nerves in the hospital and call my hubby to update him I spotted this waterfall. I love waterfalls ❀  it was a nice surprise to see it appear seemingly out of nowhere. I had been in that hospital many times but never on the side of the building where the waterfall is located. Ignore my baggy eyes. It was not good restful times atall
