MIND PLATTER by @najwazebian is a masterpiece. I completed reading this book in one sitting and I have to say that this tiny yet comprehensive work of art is beyond magical. The book is written in the form of notes with bits and pieces of sweet reminders. The book sheds light on themes such as kindness, compassion and life's unique surprises. MIND PLATTER taught me how to say no in times of utter chaos, how to be your own real self, how to stay away from all that is ill will and in an era of creative renaissance, how to led go of others judgmental behavior and make peace both internally and externally. The author has penned this self help book of nearly pages and I love how Najwa Zebian has over the years enhanced her narrative by bringing a different perspective altogether to her writing endeavors. Najwa knows how to write a cult piece by posing random tidbits about life's unpredictable tapestry with moments of hope, believe and acceptance. MIND PLATTER digs deep into our environment, the nature that is bitter, sweet and has sour flavors of this beautiful thing called life. Life's curvy paths sometimes led us to difficult horizons but those who put their faith in knowing nothing makes a life worth living. I must add here that this book has been one of the best short reads and something that I will cherish for the rest of my life. The author has divided it into separate, little chunks of chapters and scribbled magical words out of ordinary phrases. I remember those lines from Bhagwad Gita where Lord Krishna was explaining to Arjuna that Mind can be one's worst enemy as well as can become one's greatest friend.
