○ En el capítulo de hoy de #paisajesdesdeunavion, "Un lugar en el mundo". ○ Y es que cuando vas de un punto A a un B (en este caso París y Santiago) pasas por un montón de paisajes y lugares que probablemente solo verás una vez. ○ Ya sea porque estas leyendo, fijándote en otra cosa a bordo, es de noche o duermes, los lugares quedan ahí. ○ En este vuelo viajé en asiento central, aunque en un par de momentos pedí a un pasajero de ventana si me permitía hacer alguna foto. ○ Ya en el tramo final del viaje, casi a punto de sobrevolar La Rioja hice click y quedó fotografiado este lugar. Repasando los lugares por donde ha pasado el avión he comprobado que se trata de Chumbicha, una población argentina que no llega a los 5.000 habitantes. ○ Tirando de información e historia del lugar, leo que es cabecera del departamento Capayán, en la provincia de Catamarca y se fundó en 1885, cuando se preparaba el trazado del Ferrocarril Noroeste Argentino por allí. ○ Y ahí sigue... y ahí queda ese lugar en el mundo. This moment right here! Most people have no idea what this day meant for me. I have been watching Oprah since I was 11 years old. I used to sneak in and watch her show after my mom’s daytime soap operas. My joke is that Oprah raised me 😂 (no shade fam) Oprah used her platform to show us how resilient the human race truly is. And I learned about self discovery and life mastery through Oprah and her guests on the show. It taught me to use the tragedies of life to catapult my growth in the ways that she and so many world leaders have. So when I found out she was touring, I knew I had to go. Then I realized she was closing the tour on March 7th on my birthday in Denver!! I didn’t care that I had broken my ankle two weeks earlier and was wheelchair-bound! This was a SIGN dammit! I dragged my girl @thestephaniemillan along. (You da best!) It was an extremely emotional day for me and honestly, I can’t remember much. I have to admit. Immediately after my injury, I started to talk myself out of doing my event. I thought, “Well! This is the perfect excuse not to move forward. Who can blame me?” I was terrified to be vulnerable and share my story of how I transform painful events in my life into power. Then I thought about how I would feel on the day of the event, sitting at home knowing I had given up. I thought about the lives that would not be impacted if I didn’t move forward. I couldn’t let that happen. The event was called TRANSFORM YOUR PAIN INTO POWER afterall. I just didn’t realize that would include physical pain, not just emotional. The event was a beautiful success and I am proud of myself for moving forward in spite of self doubt and fear. It’s true that you will never feel 100% ready to make big changes in your life. All your limiting beliefs will attack you with vengeance to keep you comfortable. But you MUST move forward anyway. Thank you to all the beautiful souls who came from across the country, and everyone who supported from a distance. Success is a team effort and I couldn’t have done it without you guys. When I realized that the most painful moments in my life were there to help me evolve and elevate, I gained a new and empowering perspective. I am finally breaking free from the shackles that once held me down from becoming my best version. I see why people choose to simply “move on” from distressing times in their lives. But they are missing the beauty on the other side of stepping into the darkness and facing the dragon that haunts them. We can fool everyone around us, but we can’t fool ourselves. So that I didn’t have to keep making the same mistakes. So that I wasn’t relying on empty prayers to see me through. It took brutal honesty with myself. It took tears and sleepless nights. It took having a sore wrist from writing in my journal trying to understand why I was where I was, and why I didn’t like it. I am still a work in progress. I have come to the understanding that I will always be. But I also know that I can be both a masterpiece and a work in progress simultaneously. I remember getting on a helicopter with my son several years back. We got front row seats because he was the smallest passenger on board. I was freaking myself out as we maneuvered through the lush green mountainsides. I think I grabbed the pilot’s thigh one too many times in a panic. Crewing for Tony Robbins Unleash the Power Within after becoming an alumni of his Mastery University program was definitely a highlight of my year. For those that don’t know, the first day of UPW, thousands of people line up to walk across a bed of hot coals 🔥 WILLINGLY! It is a great kick off to the event and really shows you the power of mind over matter. I got the opportunity to do this process twice before volunteering to go to Miami and help the Fire Team set up for this amazing experience. We spent 20 hours straight in the Florida heat and dirt getting everything ready. Then standing in the space between the lanes, watching people from all around the world step up against their fears and limiting beliefs and cross over into a new reality had me in tears. I have been doing a lot of inner healing this year. And keeping to myself because sometimes it’s A LOT to absorb. Some of the things I have experienced this year are so beautiful, words cannot describe and a picture can never do justice. So I keep it to myself. Some moments are so treacherous, even those that truly know me today can only begin to imagine, even when I attempt to give a small glimpse into my world. On both ends, I am becoming more and more my true self. And it’s a beautiful thing. But it takes WORK and honesty with yourself (the only person you cannot fool.) I am ready and looking forward to share the amazing things that I have learned and will continue to learn about emotional well being. Because without it, we are merely existing.

28 September 2019 It has taken me a while to share my beautiful experience on the island of Fiji. Sometimes things are so life-changing and paradigm-shifting that it’s better to take some time to fully absorb and appreciate these precious moments - before broadcasting to others. This picture was captured after Sunday Service at a church in one of the villages. It was a small congregation, mostly made up of young children. A group of us visitors had the opportunity to bring the kids school supplies, games and hygiene products. They were so excited to wave hello, give hugs and say thank you. They were running around, laughing and playing with their new toys just like any other kids. I realized these beautiful children were unaware of their lack of the luxuries that we often take for granted. For the most part, Fijians live a meager life. But they are some of the most happy people I have had the pleasure of spending time with. I believe it’s because they always come from a place of respect and gratitude. The pastor started the sermon by expressing gratitude for family, for Mother Nature, and for life. On this day, I became even more aware of the fact that it’s not about what you have, it’s about what you do with what you have. Bula to all my new friends in Fiji 🌺 And vinaka for being so gracious 💛

Throughout this never ending journey of becoming my truest self, I’ve come to realize everything I perceive from others is a reflection of my internal world. If I’m intolerant of another person in any way, what is that telling me about myself? . The solutions to all our issues lie within. And that shit is FREEING ✨ . I’m understanding more and more how my own transformation is what’s really influential. (Trying to tell someone else about themselves rarely works, AMEN?) .
