It's that they are afraid of responsibility. Let's break down the word. [Response]ability. Meaning, you are able to respond. This means you are available and in a position to be reached by others in your community or life. They ask a question...you respond. They need something...you respond. When you exercise responsibility you are showing up more to be seen and accessed. You are putting yourself out there! When you show up more, this means you may: 💎 risk alienating some people who liked you better when you played small (hello growth) 💎be called out on commitmentments you said you would do (follow through) 💎have to be seen as an expert (which you are) 💎 start to build a following from being consistent and seen as a trusted individual (which you are naturally anyway) All of this can seem scary, but responsibility can be a slow, practiced exercise. The composition of the content we create and share online can easily have design principles, like hierarchies, implemented. In doing so, it can help your content become more accessible, easier to understand, and much more effective. When we lack understanding of how to apply hierarchies to our designs, whether it be a website page, social media graphic, blog post, or video… it can cause viewers to focus on the wrong parts of our designs and thus miss the points we want to actually get across! The controlling interests of this world use fear to manipulate your mind. Your nervous system becomes armed against your reality. These chemical messengers become addicting and such energized behavior becomes habitual to recreate the chemistry associated with your beliefs and thoughts. A constant state of fear is the result.
