How to prepare for your at home photoshoot 📸 Try to keep the areas near the beds, windows, sofa's etc. tidy and minimal. If you need to, push some things to one side of the room, to keep one area (near the windows) as minimal as possible. Think instagram vs reality! Remove anything from the room that you don't want included in the images, diaper genies, baby swings etc. and hide any visible wires. It’s official. I’ve known you longer than half my life. (not the car, swipe to see lol) We met on the Fourth of July. One of my favorite days of the year. Razem z @marikawronska przywołujemy dzisiaj wiosnę. W zeszłym roku rozpoczęłam ją mini-sesjami wiosennymi w studio, później były plenery w lilakach (bzach), chwile w rododendronach, ruszyłam też na wycieczkę w poszukiwaniu kwitnących jabłoni, na naszym osiedlu nie brakowało pięknych maleńkich, bialutkich, nieziemsko pachnących mirabelek 😍 Ach tak bardzo czekam na te chwile, kiedy znów będziemy mogli się wspólnie zachwycać tymi miejscami. Inspiration is to inspire. It’s to feel the emotional and overwhelming spark of an idea become a part of your soul. Inspiration in the creative world can sometimes feel like a forbidden word or concept. It can become the difference between being seen as a ‘true creative’ or a ‘copy cat’. But to say you haven’t or aren’t inspired by others is just not possible. I completely acknowledge that there is a distinct difference between being inspired and drawing all of your creative abilities from someone else’s ideas. I have always and will always want to be honest and genuine throughout my business. So to say that this creative idea came to me completely organically would be misleading and not true. The ever so talented @vickimillerphotography put out a model call about a month or so ago. She asked for an expecting mumma who would be willing to do a creative session with her that is comfortable around horses. Reading through the model call it sparked this ethereal and glamorous image I could so clearly see. I sat on the idea and mulled it over. I continued to asked myself how I could provide a different perspective on a very similar concept. I wanted to ensure I was being inspired and not just drawing my creative ideas from another creative. The idea and image kept niggling at me. Pulling me to follow through. I put everything in motion. I was excited every step of the way. At the session and after I knew I had done my idea justice. I was and am proud of what I created. Before sharing these though, I reached out to @vickimillerphotography. I told her the complete and honest truth. I wanted her to know how genuinely I value her and how bright her light is in the industry. So to share the images without reaching out didn’t feel right, if you follow Vicki you know how gracious and beautiful she is. So it’s no surprise that, that’s what she replied with. With nothing other than dignity and grace. So if you are inspired and find yourself pulling towards a specific idea, take your time, find your own unique perspective, do the inspiration you felt justice. Plus, maybe even message the person that inspired you. You might get all that you are hoping for. ♥️✨
