Next weekend, I’m releasing a Single called ‘Knepp Dawn’, in collaboration with the sculptor and field recordist Hazel Reeves @hazelreevessculptor Knepp has seen extraordinary increases in wildlife since rewilding began. Extremely rare species such as turtle doves, nightingales, peregrine falcons and purple emperor butterflies are now breeding here. Populations of more common species are rocketing. I feel fortunate to have visited Knepp at dawn. SOUND UP!! 🔊🔊 Sharing some scenes from last Saturday's sonic performance by Colin McIntyre (@sculptureforge) as a part of our Body of Resonance series that respond to and activate our current show, Circular Body by Alejandra Almuelle. As an hour long sound piece, McIntyre engulfed the space with an experimental composition that vibrated throughout the gallery and deep within our core. McIntyre is a visual and sound artist with a primary focus on large scale sculpture and public art. He co-founded Dimension Gallery and founded The Resonant Lung, both Texas State Nonprofit arts organizations. McIntyre will be back next Saturday, May 4th for the second installation of Body of Resonance.
