CHICKEN PICCATA This is a delicious and healthy flavor to add to your chicken, and is great with a chickpea pasta! Save this recipe for when Italian food is calling your name. WHAT YOU NEED • 1 lb. (450g) chicken breast • 3.5 oz. (100g) butter • 1⁄4 cup (50g) capers, drained • 3 lemons, zested, juiced • 1⁄2 cup (30g) parsley, chopped • salt and pepper WHAT YOU NEED TO DO Butterfly the chicken breasts sso they are approximately 1⁄2" thick. Season well with salt and pepper. Heat 1⁄4 of the butter in a large pan over a medium-high heat and cook the chicken. Cook for 4 minutes each side or until golden brown. Transfer to a plate and set aside. Add the remaining butter to the pan. Cook, stirring, for 2-3 minutes or until the butter melts and turns a golden brown color. Add the capers to the butter and cook for 1 minute. Add the lemon juice and half the lemon zest, and mix through. Now place the chicken and any juices back in the pan. Cook, turning occasionally, for 2-3 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened slightly. 👋 Greetings! It’s been a while…right? After scrolling through this Instagram page last night, I realized I’ve been terrible about posting & updating lately. Also, I realized as much as I love interior design, equally I love so many other things in life. As many of you know, I’m originally from Charleston, West Virginia. From there I moved to Charleston, South Carolina in 2020, and from there, in 2023 I moved to Denver, Colorado. After living in CO for almost 8 months now, I can honestly say I’m living exactly where I’m supposed to be. I absolutely LOVE 🫶 Colorado! This state & this environment speaks to my soul. As an avid skier and lover of all things winter, I recently accomplished my season goal of 30 days skiing on the mountain. Denver, CO is one of the sunniest places in the United States with over 300+ days of sunshine ☀️ a year, and I am loving it! With all of that said, I wanted to let everyone know that I’ve decided to take a turn with this Instagram page. I continue to work in interior design, helping clients one by one (which I love), but along with interior design, I’m doing other things I love, as well. Odd jobs here & there, photography, etc., filling in the gaps with my free time. As many of you know, I adore all things flowers. I continue to photograph flowers every chance I get. Indoor arrangements to beautiful outdoor gardens & landscapes—another thing that fills my soul with happiness. This page is now named TashaAgnewLifestyle. Interior design photos are fun to see, but so are photos & reels of so many other aspects of life. Going forward, that is what you will see on this page. Whether I’m out & about on a stroll & see something that catches my eye, whether I’m on the mountain skiing, whether I just found a bargain outfit to share with you, whether I am on vacation, etc., this page is now about life…not just interior design. Is your child with ADHD or other behavioural issues constantly looking for snacks? Crackers, chips, pretzels, popcorn - the list goes on. You may think it's the 🧈fat or 🍭sugar from the snacks or their accompaniments they are craving but it can actually be the salt. The body could be crying out for salt for a number of reasons. 1️⃣ Salt regulates our fluid and mineral balance across membranes including our cell membranes so they may actually be dehydrated. And they may actually be craving potassium which they won't get much of in those snacks. 2️⃣ It may be an indication they have been under significant stress recently. The stress hormones adrenaline and cortisol can impact the control of sodium in the body via how much is excreted via the kidneys and urine. 3️⃣ Their body may be looking for the chloride portion of salt (ie sodium chloride).
